My new endocrinologist has done some impressive new things for me, adding estrogen to my medication list and significantly increasing my Spiro dosage.

Now I know I see lots of comments on breast growth and changes in skin, but for me the most notable things have been hot flashes and a constant dull pain in my rear. It aches the same way it did when I had an IM injection of Recephin when I was younger.

At such an early point, is this normal?! ???

If the shot was administered in the...posterior region. The pain you are feeling could be due to the needle hitting a nerve. I've had something like that happen before when I've been given shots in that area.

Embarrassingly enough, no I am not on the IM version of Estradiol. I'm on the oral medication. Thinking alot about transdermal though...

Hmm hot flashes sure, but pain in the rear? I don't recall having any of that but, I have never been on a large spiro dose. This pain is new?

If I did have it I couldn't feel it thru all the breast pain lol

Yes, it's very new. The breast pain is there - and I expected it. This on the other hand is very unexpected.

Fortunately it seems to have faded away. I think I'll bring it up to my Endo on my next visit.

I started getting massive cramps and pains in my calves and my doctor told me to take a calcium and a vitimin D supplement...just an hour after taking the supplements the pain cleared up.

If you get cramps and they don't clear up on their own and go on for days...its probably because of calcium depletion. Albeit calf cramps can indicate a blood clot. I'm young and on bio identical E so there wasn't much chance of that.
