I've got very dark hairs and very fair skin, I hate my stubble and until laser has sapped them all here is what I do.
My routine involves:
0. Figure out your stubble colour, then buy a cheap lipstick to counter it. The rule is the darker the stubble the closer to deep red, the lighter the closer to orange, this also depends on your skin of course. Your foundation should match the colour of your wrist, the concealer should be one shade lighter.
1. Hot shower
2. Shave with the grain, Gillette 4 or 5 blade facial (men's) razor, rinse with cold water.
3. Moisturise, I like to use Aloe Vera gel, the green stuff, it's cheap and effective and has a cooling effect.
4. Shave a second time, this time at a 90 degree angle to the grain, rinse with cold water.
5. Moisturise using a proper moisturiser or apply makeup primer to your face.
6. Dot your beard area with the lipstick, not to much, not to little but remember that you can always add more later.
7. Blend out the lipstick over your beard area, you can use your fingers or a foundation sponge, just go easy and work with the grain. You should end up with a warm hue added to your beard area.
8. Apply liquid/gel foundation on your face, I like using sponges and dabbing to prevent mixing with the lipstick.
9. Apply concealer as needed to lighten up areas but remember that it also highlights the area by making it stand out more.
10. Be gorgeous

This may eventually be worth moving to the makeup forum, but that place is a ghost town, so I hope this thread can spend a bit of time in here first.
My stubble is the bane of my existance. How can I hide it without looking like a trolup?
Hair removal takes a long time. I need some tricks for now.
