2 weeks ago, i approached my gp for the 1st time in ages, and the 1st time she has seen me while i am living as a woman full time(8 months FT), even though she knows i have GID(that was my original diagnosis and its what i class myself as). amongst various issues of my treatment for GID, i did talk to her about and request castration at my/or another, local hospital, something i believe can be done without my GIC's input. i did point out the cost benefits vs t-blockers(long term) and that having it done under a 'local' as a day patient the cost would be cheaper too. im 47, have had children already and i am already sterile due to a vasectomy 13 years ago. being on 'X' mg(edited) daily finasteride, i already have a certain amount of erectile dysfunction and having previously self medded on dutasteride(where i had total erectile dysfunction and found it a pleasing way of life), having my Philip K just for peeing through is not a problem for me. i explained that i would prolly need a sike evaluation to make sure im not running on a lean mixture. she seemed receptive about it. will post an update when i get some news from her.
