Just emerged from my Susan's probationary cocoon and since you were all kind enough to share your gorgeous selves with me (seriously JennyGirl your photos make me so damn happy,) I thought I'd share my pre-HRT photos here so y'all know what I look like. At 6'2" and with a visible adam's apple, I'm not stressing too badly about passing at this point in my journey 😉 Please forgive the cloudy (and somewhat falsely flattering) nature of these photos either the mirror is dirty, the Lifeproof case I keep my phone in is or the lighting is not optimal. Also I haven't digitally cleaned up the make up in any of these shots (that I can recall) and I tend to take a lot of them on the road, after very long work days so don't be too harsh on me if I look like yesterday's drag show. LOL.
Here I was experimenting with styling a basic (in this case a boat neck grey t-shirt) I really enjoy fashion and I'll try any look if I think I can make it work.
This was after a 16 hour documentary shoot day as the last person was let out of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I took one of their leis so I could make a dad joke about getting lei'd on the Facebooks. Har Har HAR.
An attempt to style the first dress I ever bought and one which I had long since deemed "dowdy" on me. The hat is from Urban Outfitters and I'm in love with it.
This is from when I said, "screw it!" and went out without caking on the theatrical funeral mask that I usually use for makeup. That's me enjoying a day at the park with my wife and my three year old daughter in the back there on the playground. My beverage of choice: Crispin Honey Crisp Hard Cider.
