Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone had any problems with depth after SRS?
(in particular, Brassard patients?)

What about sensation (inside the vagina and clitoris)?

How was your experience? (anyone is welcome to answer) ;) :)

I am happy, he was always the top of my list. If you look around there are more threads i and Jenna have answered on Dr. Brassard.

Hi Isabell :)

Would you say that you found the depth appropriate/enough?

Also, do you think his surgery provides a "natural" look (I know that there is a lot of variation in both cis and trans woman)? I want a very clean but natural look (sort of like these: http://urogyn.org/labiaplasty_rim.html)

Please let me know. I look forward to your answers  :D ;)

Hi Isabell :)

Would you say that you found the depth appropriate/enough? Depth is good for the average and once i made it up to the OMG (orange monster guage) dilator, size was also good. When everyone gets stuck on depth. A male only has so much room for depth, if you try and get to much depth is when fistula happens. Dr B is around the 6 inch mark.

Please let me know. I look forward to your answers  :D ;)

Oh, I see. The thing about Dr. Suporn is he *guarantees* at least 6 inches of depth. I don't know if Brassard guarantees any at all? This worries me a lot, because I definitely want to be able to have an active sex life afterwards  :embarrassed:

Ah, yes. I want that sort of look (like the ones on the right). If I can get something like that I will be very happy  :D ;) :)

As i said other places, I am a solid 5 1/2" depth mark. I am about normal to most that loose about 1/2" from there starting depth. Again that is one thing dilations are so important. I can not stress enough the aftercare is so, so important.

I see. Do you know if Brassard guarantees any type of depth? Do you think that by consistent dilation it is possible to gain more (even if little) depth or it returns to the same as it was immediately after the surgery? Also, what does it feel like when you reach the end of the vagina? What about the channel itself (I read that during the first year post-op that the tissue becomes like the ones in cis women). I apologize if the questions are too personal  :embarrassed:  :D

If i knew today back when i started my dilations i think i would have been able to keep my depth. But 1/2" is not much. I will let Jenna answer the rest being i am only just a few weeks past my 1 year mark.

Ah, I see  :) You can answer too, if you'd like. Nothing that will make you uncomfortable

I am just happy for all the help ^^

I see. Do you know if Brassard guarantees any type of depth? That you will have to ask the office, i know all the girls i was with had there dilators marked at the 5 1/2" dot. One i first started dilations i could go past the mark but i held it to the mark. Do you think that by consistent dilation it is possible to gain more (even if little) depth or it returns to the same as it was immediately after the surgery? You will be able to maintain depth, he strongly says not to try and force gain any. I think damage can be done easy.  Also, what does it feel like when you reach the end of the vagina? Hmmm. that is kinda hard to answer. Each size of dilator gives it own feel.  What about the channel itself (I read that during the first year post-op that the tissue becomes like the ones in cis women). It changes due to emotions and such for me, mine is always moist. I still need some type of lube for it to be enjoyable. I think in more time it will get better.  I apologize if the questions are too personal  :embarrassed:  :D

Ah, okay. What about width, does the small dilator feel too large, or the bigger one too big?

Ok, so since this is a topic about sex after SRS, did you have any troubles with that? I apologize if this is too personal  :P ;D  I really do worry about having a channel that is too shallow

You will only be as loose as your dilator. I have found that it is not very giving on length.

I think depth will be fine. It has been do for many years. the average of a GIS is 3-4 inch, just it is way more giving.
I found this
The depth of the typical neovagina created by male-to-female sex reassignment surgery is generally limited by the length of Denonvilliers' fascia and is reported to be between 11 and 12 cm (4.3-4.7 in), within the range of the natural female vagina.

typical vaginal depth in Masters and Johnson's participants ranged from 7–8 cm (2.8-3.1 in) in an unstimulated state, to 11–12 cm (4.3-4.7 in) during sexual arousal with a speculum in place.

I see  :) Hopefully whatever depth I have will be enough  :D I still worry about the aesthetics though LOL

Seyranna

3 months post with Dr.B here and I'd like to say that I get pretty wet. I even squirt! And the texture of the vaginal walls already feel like a cis vagina which really surprised me considering I thought it would get there after months/years when the tissues change to become near mucosal.

I've been playing with vaginas since I'm like 12 and my GF is a goldstar lezzy so there's no BS there. Aesthetic wise it's really not there though and that is what I really expect(hope) to change over time and if it doesn't well at least I'll be functional.

Oh but my depth is on the short side though like 4,4.5 inches but I'm not tall and it does matter since obviously the taller you are the more room there is to dig =P

Hi Seyranna. How are you?  :)

Wow, I had no idea squirting was even possible ;D

What do you think could be improved aesthetically, if I may ask?

Did Dr. Brassard tell you beforehand around what amount of depth he was going to provide?

Please let me know. Thank you so much for answering.  :) ;) :D

7-8 months post-op (not with Dr.Brassard but Dr.Kamol in Bangkok,Thailand) , i felt great with my vagina, i had great orgasm, and the depth is now 6" (was 5" when I had SRS done, Dr.Kamol told me that i was fat : 178 cm & 76 kg that time) because i lose a lot of weight after op, i now weigh 66 kg and i dilated twice daily (1 hour/time) in the first 6 months .. sex is great too , i'm very satisfied :)

Dr. Kamol is very famous in Brazil, I'm glad you are happy with the result :) So you gained an inch of depth after you lost weight, or is that unrelated?  ???

I had surgery from Dr. Kamol too! My depth is 6" and a half. Im still afraid to try squirting and its been a year plus since my op. However... I did squirt while dilating it kinda hurt a wee bit. ><

i had skin graft ..and he said because i was chubby during the operation, graft might not stick well , therefore, the dept he could do was 5" only but he said if i lose some weight & push the dilate stick deep & hard, i might get 1/2" more .. lucky me , with my dilating discipline, i got 1" more

sorry , am trying to explain in English >_<
