A Good Day

I don't go out dressed female. I would be recognised instantly (I live in a small town in Ireland where people have no understanding of Trans) and I would not pass as a woman. This gets me down sometimes as I would love to be myself out there. So, today I decided it was time to do something about it.
I wore all female underwear (bra, boobs.....the works), female jewellery and perfume. My outer clothes were best described as unisex - remember I was not trying to pass but the breasts, though small, were fairly obvious.
So off I went to the supermarket, did some shopping, chatted with a couple of different clerks and had a really nice time. Nobody took any notice of the little outward signs (boobs, jewellery, perfume etc.) and I felt really good.
You might think that this is no big deal but, to me it has been a big step forward. I love being a woman and it means so much to me now that I can go out as a woman while not trying to pass.
This has been a good day in my life so I thought I would share it with my friends at Susans.
As always, thank you for listening.

That fist time does feel like a big deal but after that it comes easier and easier until you don't even think about it.

Thank you Marcia. To be honest , I was a little terrified initially but I settled down after a while. I hope that some day I too will not even think about it.

Thank you Kade. You are right, there was such a sense of freedom that I never thought possible. I'm really thrilled that it was such a successful outing.

Thank you Jessica. It all just felt so right. It was my first time really being myself. I'm not sure that I could ever have done it without the support of you all at Susans over the past year.
