I started writing again!

When I was younger I used to write poetry and kept a journal, not sure why I ever stopped. I assume it had something to do with my dysphoria and depression but nevertheless I have started again as of today and it sparked an old flame inside me that I obviously missed greatly. So happy

Went out for another night ride and starting to get fitter which feels fantastic. Rode 80km and loving it again.
Rode with a long time friend. We talked about nothing and anything.

Tough this Sydney weather. Winter is closing in fast and it's still 20C. How will I handle a frigid 15C?

It was warm today wasn't it?  Glad you're making the most of it.  I'm glad you're riding with a friend - Sydney drivers are shockers around cyclists. :/

Yay  Reclaiming old hobbies from depression is awesome! Do you keep your poetry to yourself or do you think you will post it somewhere?

Yes it sort of built a reborn sense of freedom within me lol that may sound corny but thats how it felt. I will be happy to post some when I finish some. I would gladly share my poetry with everyone If i dont feel up to putting it up for everyone would you mind if i Pm'd some to you?

Day 7 of no more nasty cigarettes, yea! No idea how I got addicted & inhaled those dirty things? My little garden is doing well. Only a couple of days left until my next appointment with plastic surgeon for face lift plan. A happy day.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Been trying to get back into archery and some programming projects I let slip.
Sure, I'd like that. I'm useless at it myself, but it's still enjoyable and interesting to see how others express things

Facial hair started shedding again after laser. Can wipe my hand across my chin (as upper lip didn't start today, just chin ), see the shed hair on my hand and wash away some of the dysphoria and pain with it

Day 8 since my last nasty tobacco cigarette. I'll never smoke another one of those things. I'm getting closer to my date for facial plastic surgery so that's great.  Beautiful weather & my little garden is doing very well.

Congrats on quitting! Someone told me that you have to want to quit, patches or anything can't do it for you.

I went to the pharmacy today and a couple men were sitting in chairs waiting for their prescriptions. When I passed, one of them said, "Sweet!" and the other said, "what?", and then he said, "her!" I was the only girl in sight and much younger than them, but it felt nice.

Dentist appointment & all is perfect & almost finished with my first 2 hour whitening strip session. So I'm a happy girl.

I was hanging with a guy that I think likes me, and he called me tiny. I don't think I'm "tiny" for a girl but for some reason it makes me feel good! He also said I was fine... lol

It went:

"Have you ever been to the dungeon? The walk way to it is so narrow I can barely fit through it... well I mean you're tiny so you wouldn't have a problem"...

and

(We were talking about how it's no big deal if a homosexual hits on one of us)

"I get hit on a lot by girls when I'm in the quarter."

I got to spend the day with my SO. She and I hadn't been able to see each other for close to a week which is unusual for both of us. Spending time with her always makes me happy!

A beautiful day in Sydney as winter closes in. 25C or 80F. Starting to get a bit brisk!
Had my first laser session this year, wasn't too bad so hope it kills off the remaining dark hairs as there are a few strays..
Started working on building my display case.
Saw my GP for a catch up in the afternoon. She was very happy to see how things have changed. She could see that I am so much happier than before and the depression has almost gone. Discussed how my Endo wants to give me an implant next time which I am all for.
I think Jenny and Grace have said more than enough on this to convince me now my dose has been found.

I feel so lucky to have such good people supporting and helping  me .

BTW, I saw Nerida the other day for a face zap, I don't usually see her as you know but due to a scheduling mishap of my own making that's the way it worked out. She's nice! Three hours went really quickly! Don't worry, I won't steal her from you.

My appointment yesterday with my plastic surgeon went almost perfect. All is in order for a face & neck lift plus eye lid reduction surgery for early morning June 10th. Everything is paid for & I have a close long time girl friend coming by to pick me up after surgery.
