A woman I've known since age 6 in the first grade is bringing me home cooked chicken soup after my plastic surgery on the 10th. How cool. She is a very close friend & is very supportive as I change my body into a more normal female appearance. We love to shop together & have a grand time.

Jennifer, I hope we do not have any nightmares tonight. I actually had a nightmare last night. My first one in 4-5 months. Real strange dream about all kinds of randon stuff & nothing matched together just all kind of out of place events, thoughts, strange situations.........   Glad that was over I hope. Guess I'm nervous about surgery???

I got my revised corrected letter from my Endo today for the DMV to change my gender on my driver's license to female. After checking twice all required information is present soooooo, tomorrow I'll go back to the DMV and get my gender changed on my license. I've waited so long for this so I'm a happy girl this evening!

Today I'm a veeeeeeery happy happy girl! I had my gender changed on my driver's license to female. Having this done, will make changing my other documents super easy. But the best part is, now I can proudly show my ID when required instead of being ashamed to show it at all. I feel like celebrating! YaY!!!!!

Having this done has been a long time coming for me. I feel validated as well as vindicated.

Oh, on another very happy note, during the last few days my boobies are having a growth spurt!
Today for me is Just a happy happy happy day!!

Happy that I appear to be well after getting broadsided as my car slid into an intersection instead of stopping where it should have. A bit discombobulated for the past 6hrs, but after a nap all appears well.

I've been wearing wigs for the past few months but I got my first women's haircut today and it looks pretty good! Plus the girls at the salon were really friendly and awesome. It definitely made me feel a lot more confident and when I got back I realised that I hadn't gotten any funny looks afterwards at the store or on the way back from town... except for maybe when I had to speak but that doesn't count! 

Anyways, it's a beautiful sunny day, I have great hair and my confidence levels have increased by about 1000% since I came out 6 months ago. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what HRT will do.

I'd kinda written this summer off before it even began. Thought I'd keep my head down and just try to survive my transition and leave having fun and enjoying life until I was further into the journey but I think this summer is actually gonna rock!

Just cause your in the early stages of transition/beginning hrt isn't a good reason to stay couped up inside hiding from the world. Especially if you have confidence in yourself. By all means get out and enjoy your summer. You'll thank yourself this fall.
