This is the historic Astoria Regatta, since 1984, the oldest celebration in the State of Oregon.  This weekend we were graced by Susan's Julie Blair and other wonderful family and friends who marched in the Grand Land Parade and sailed the Columbia River.  On these occasions we flew the LGBTQ rainbow pennant and sang the songs of our heart, freedom and the sea.  Visibility is advocacy for equity.  Great memories and closer ties made fast today mateys

Kudos to you Kaylin! Being gendered correctly is a rite of passage. I'm very happy for you. I thought Guardians of the Galaxy was a cute movie. Definitely one I'll add to my collection.

After a day of dysphoria visiting Mother, who I love dearly, with each purpouseful misgendering and old name calling like a ball pein hammer to the scull and a dagger twisting in the eye, after all this time and change, I needed this......

Had my first electrolysis consultation and treatment today. OUCH!! But YAY!!! Then had my therapy appointment right after. It's been a good day.

Actually I take back my earlier post. When I met with the Electrolysis Practitioner today and we were talking I smiled and she told me, "With those dimples your going to make a beautiful woman." Ugh...no words...no words...

I'm so happy for you Autumn! I know the elation you must be feeling.

What made me happy today? I was able to help out a neighbor friend in need. She's a widow and a good friend who may be showing a little more interest than is wanted, but I attest that to her being lonely as both her kids moved out leaving her alone. Since we both are a little lonely being we live by ourselves, it's good we can keep each other company. Actually she's quite slim and pretty too. Anyhoo, It made me feel good and happy to help out a friend in need.

Finding a bra that fits like a glove and I can hardly notice I have on.
Also that it is doing its job now my babies are growing nicely.

It feels so right and I feel calm and contented for one small moment that it's wonderful to feel very feminine.

Also looking forward to a lunch next week with some of the girls.

It has been almost 3 months since my face lift surgery & my face finally looks normal. That is such a nice relief. I plan to start back on electrolysis for remaining facial hairs & have returned to my normal level of HRT.

Appointment for Saturday with electro lady, she is so nice. We will zap away some more facial hairs, my 8 or 9th visit. My face is looking so much cleaner & life is going good.

Got blood results back just now!!!
After two months:
Estrodiol - 505 PG/ML
Testosterone - 21 NG/DL

No adjustments needed, well within normal ranges in all points, and down another 3lbs!!
Time to do a little dance!

I'm going to get to meet a new friend this upcoming month after the holiday and am very excited about that and the fact this awful month of August is early over. Hoping for better luck financially next month.
