I think you can be very proud, to have the courage to go in front of his class and talk about it openly is awesome and brings tears to my eyes :)

My 10 year old sun tomorrow has his first speech in class about himself, and besides three other subjects over himself he wants to talk about how his father is becoming a woman. Pics included. . . I am so very proud of him!
Of course we feel scary about it but the teachers know about this and they have good protocols so nothing bad will happen to our brave little feller.
So yes, happy thing today, hope to have one follow up tomorrow.

Just being able to have a nice relaxing day without having to go anywhere. I'm always going somewhere, but not today.

What made me happy - my boyfriend saying how my past doesn't matter, how he loves me so much and wants to make me happy. Even after becoming post op, hearing such words felt like the stuff of fantasy, for a number of reasons (trans being one obstacle), but life keeps on surprising me!
It takes balls to go through SRS!

What's going to make me happy is that I am going in in about an hour for Radio Frequency Ablation on my back. If it works well I will have way less pain or no more pain in my back. Then I will be able to focus on more important things. Wish me luck!!

And he did it!
Told his stories, showed his pictures in front of his class just as he had planned to do.
Just the proud and happy look on his face when he came home, and telling me he told all he wanted and that it went better than he expected :)
Little happy camper . . . . .  ;D  (yep, all my fears yesterday where for nothing)

And another thing that made me happy today:

Got my 6 month checkup with my endo and psych today, found out that i lost a few pounds, but my hips are wider :) , and that last time i visit them after only 3 months hrt my testosteron and estro where already in the good female regions then, faster than expected.
Everything is fine, so I can continue my path.

Got an invitation if I wanted to contribute to some research program, they seem to have track of some DNA that is different in trans people, so I will donate some extra blood (three tubes) the next time in search of our origin.

Cheers! Suzanne.
Great for you & your son. Thank you so much for sharing good news, happy dance music.

What made me happy today was coming out to a friend who offered nothing but support and continued friendship. And he was the first person I have ever come out to ever.

A good day for sure!

It is so nice to see & read stories of other mtF nice women that are enjoying a good life as a woman. I've been female for as long as I can remember, since childhood & only now am I finally improving my body to hopefully enjoy life fully as a woman. Thank you all so much & I hope we all can truly enjoy our new lives. Nice grocery store shopping trip dressed nice but casual, 2 decent men sure smiled at me. I did not respond much however I sure wanted to.

That's wonderful news! I'm glad some family members out there are truly supportive of their own. That doesn't happen often enough.
