Such a nice visit with my electrolysis/beauty salon lady yesterday. She was so impessed. "Girl friend you look great, much more feminine & prettier than half of my normal women clients" I dressed up some for my weekly visit, new wig, little makeup, not much. My face is very feminine anyway. We had a grand time & less facial hair. It's not all gone but we sure are thinning it out a lot. I was a happy girl driving home all nice, pretty & smooth. Also my electro lady has had 2 clients that completed their GRS. It was sure nice to find a nice women to openly talk with about vaginas.......We have been friends for over a year & I'm sure we will be girl friends for a long time to come as become more of a complete woman.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

You sure do not look very happy about it, why post that here?

Couple of things:

Roughly every month or so I weigh and measure myself, just to keep track of stuff really. So after a year of HRT and losing muscle and weight I weigh, give or take a few ounces, exactly 9 stone (126lb), my shoulders are 15", I'm 34-26-34 (hip:waist ratio of 0.76) . These are almost pretty solidly female measurements, I think, so that's awesome (although when I look in the mirror I still see wide shoulders and narrow hips, so either my brain is lying to me, which isn't impossible, or my tape measure is wrong, which seems unlikely). A year ago I was 149lb and 35-31-36 (ratio of 0.86), and my shoulders were 17", so there's definitely been some progress. I do try to look for clothes that accentuate my waist and especially skirts and dresses that are at least a bit flared so as to make my hips seem bigger. But I'm happy with those measurements for now, even if my breasts are just about filling an A cup. They do seem to be growing at least, so that's okay I guess.

And my GP got back to me on Friday with blood test results - T is at 1.2 nmol/L (34.6 ng/dL), which from reading around seems like it would be relatively low-medium even for a genetic girl, so that's good. He apparently forgot to get my E levels measured, even though we talked about it and he agreed he would, so. I guess next time I'll make sure he does.

But yeah, I've been feeling pretty good this weekend as a result. Happy times.

I was playing Bejeweled 3 on Zen mode i.e. an endless game of matching jewels. The zen in the name also means you can have these affirmations playing at the bottom of the screen. So when it read "I'm living a life that reflects my deepest desires" I stopped in my tracks and realized: yes I am, this (transition) is what I want! Really really want! ;D

I'm happy to become more of a nice woman a little more each day. I somewhat feel like a 12 or 13 year old girl growing breasts & experimenting with new clothes, makeup, new friends, adjusting & learning to become a nicer woman, etc........Estrogen just feels great & so normal for me.

I've been working up my confidence with going FT, and I've occasionally gone out dressed as a woman. My ex-boyfriend (who I'm still great friends with) said I looked really pretty when he saw me yesterday evening. That made my weekend.

Because its genetic makeup is irregular, it quickly changes its form due to a variety of causes.

I have a funny suggestion. Make a huge pile of everything; clothes, shoes, etc.... that you have that is  "male". Load it in your car & go give it to Goodwill. Then it will not be as hard at all to live FT as a woman. You will be shopping for new dresses in no time. Have fun GF.

Good luck with FT Eevee!

I just met with a friend for coffee and at some point the discussion came to our dosages. She told me yeah you've been on low dose for 3 first months so -- and then I realized yeah, I haven't been on my current dosage even that long, just 2+ months. When I reached 5 months I got upset about how minor the changes have been and sorta crashed down with my expectations. This realization lifted my spirits and now I'm more optimistic than I've been since then.

I think I'm happy about something that happened today.  I'm not sure, because I'm not sure what a woman meant by something she said to me.

I was in the supermarket and had put my shopping bag and my purse in the trolley while I was making the rounds, choosing my purchases.  The woman went by me, then stopped and turned and said to me, "That's a nice bag for the taking!"

Well, I'm not sure which bag she was talking about and I wasn't at all sure exactly what she meant by that.  But a bit later I ran into two of my girlfriends in the café, and we agreed that probably what she meant was, "That's a nice bag.  I wouldn't mind having it."

So I'll take it as a compliment.  So I'm happy.  (I think.)

After a company-wide email went out to everyone from my manager explaining my transition this morning, I received a very touching email from a co-worker (that I have typically viewed as a bit of a redneck, oil industry macho man).  This email brought me to tears when I read it... in a good way.  :)

I'm going "big hair" this fall & winter. I just received a new beautiful wig today. It's the same auburn color as my medium to shorter length wig but such hair & curls. My electrolysis lady will love it. It will be fun to have her work on my face this next Saturday dressed very nice & with this new wig. I just love it, it makes me feel so feminine, pretty & sexy.

Boxed up a new laptop computer that I bought today at walmart & tomorrow returning it for my $. Terrible devise, HP model, so unfriendly to use. I'd rather shave my legs with a dull razor & no water than spend another minute with this torture devise. Happy girl to just return this item.

Got my first bra yesterday (sorely needed, beginning to jiggle), and a new winter coat.
There is also the dozen or so new hairs appearing in the terrible male hairline! I'm sure they weren't there before, so thats promising (I haven't even started on finasteride or nizoral shampoo yet)
