Couple of things:
Roughly every month or so I weigh and measure myself, just to keep track of stuff really. So after a year of HRT and losing muscle and weight I weigh, give or take a few ounces, exactly 9 stone (126lb), my shoulders are 15", I'm 34-26-34 (hip:waist ratio of 0.76) . These are almost pretty solidly female measurements, I think, so that's awesome (although when I look in the mirror I still see wide shoulders and narrow hips, so either my brain is lying to me, which isn't impossible, or my tape measure is wrong, which seems unlikely). A year ago I was 149lb and 35-31-36 (ratio of 0.86), and my shoulders were 17", so there's definitely been some progress. I do try to look for clothes that accentuate my waist and especially skirts and dresses that are at least a bit flared so as to make my hips seem bigger. But I'm happy with those measurements for now, even if my breasts are just about filling an A cup. They do seem to be growing at least, so that's okay I guess.
And my GP got back to me on Friday with blood test results - T is at 1.2 nmol/L (34.6 ng/dL), which from reading around seems like it would be relatively low-medium even for a genetic girl, so that's good. He apparently forgot to get my E levels measured, even though we talked about it and he agreed he would, so. I guess next time I'll make sure he does.
But yeah, I've been feeling pretty good this weekend as a result. Happy times.
