I drove my older sister into town today to take her to work, but we went in early and she took me clothes shopping so I could start my new female wardrobe! (my current wardrobe until now has just been baggy jeans that used to be my dad's or older brother's and basic/brand t-shirts)

She was so helpful with picking out outfits and it was so much fun :D Unfortunately I didn't manage to get any new shoes (they only had up to size 9 and i have size 12 feet :(), but I'm really happy with all the stuff I got :D

I very nearly ran into someone who I knew from high school (i've only come out to family and close friends) and I think they recognized me through the wig and female clothing, they kept looking and staring at me looking confused, so I'm hoping they just thought I looked familiar and that they'll just forget about it.

But now I'm home and don't want to take off my new turtle neck (.3.) it's so comfy

Even with all the hair removal I have done on my face I still feel some chin stubble normally.  Laser and electrolysis are great for it but have a hard time with my Mediterranean blood.  With the last treatment though it feels nice and clean, at least for now.  Yea!

While that was great, I also had one better.  My wife and I stopped in a local department store on the way to the gym and while there some high school girls looked at me and giggled over my workout shorts, which were fairly short and probably laughed at my bosom too.  I'm pretty conscious of making sure my wife is as comfortable as possible as I slowly feminize so I asked her if it bothered her and said I'd make sure to wear longer shorts from now on.  She said to not worry about it and that it didn't bother her and didn't bother her what others thought.  It made my evening.

Lucky thin GF. 1/2 of a subway sandwich is all I get after walking about 2 miles this morning. How do you stay so thin?

For the first time I found a pair of girl jeans that fit me better than any of my guy jeans.

I got on the train yesterday and went to a nearby town for a bit of a shopping expedition.  That's always fun, always makes me happy.  Didn't buy much really, just a few more things to help me through the winter.  But it was fun to be out and about.

I went to a café for some soup and took a big table right beside the front window so I could look out on the promenade and the river and the people going by.  When the waitress brought me my soup, she said, "There you are, my dear!"  A short time later a woman came in and asked if she could share my table (since there was plenty of space at it).  And when the waitress brought her her tea and scone, she said, "There you are, my dear!"  And I thought to myself, "Good for her!  She knows a woman when she sees one."

Only one dark spot.  I don't know about the rest of you, but I love hats--and I have a bloody hard time finding any I like, mainly because women simply don't wear hats any more.  One of the surest signs of the decline of Western civilization.  But after a good look yesterday, I did find one that I was quite pleased with, so in the end I was happy enough with that.  A shopping trip that nets you one nice hat can be viewed as a success for that reason alone.

I'm going to learn & use cute little nails designs. A GF's daughter in law sells them & that will such fun to dress up my nails for the Holiday season. I have nice nails however I've always just used one color. This will be fun to try out fun cute designs.

I got my Passport in the mail today with that beautiful "F" on it with my correct name :)

Wow! Awesome, Sydney. That must feel great.

I got my official "Certificate of Change of Name" a while ago and it's made me feel a lot better. I'm still waiting for all the new ID's and junk though.

So, my folks kicked me out for being trans when I was a kid... not for long actually but it's more the awful things they said that damaged me. Big time. Got into hard drugs and I ended up so messed up I just felt so weak and scarred both physically and emotionally that I was too weak to transition for a long time. But once I found the strength to do it and told them they were 100% supportive this time. They even visited me all the way from England and they're gonna lend me a bunch of money to make sure I'll have enough rent money when I go back to school to be a counsellor. It was wonderful. They were so delighted at how happy, confident and naturally femme I am that they cried tears of happiness. I never ever expected that and it was amazing. It couldn't possibly have gone better.  :)

Haha really? Jeez, I don't even own an iron. I tried it once and I just didn't care for it at all. I swear gravity does the job just fine. Still though, that's a cute story. It's nice to find joy in the little things.

I'm with you. I do not own an iron. I'd rather do my nails or anything else than iron clothes.

As to ironing, I used to never really care, now I do.

The creases need to be where they are supposed to be and the wrinkles not. Some things don't need it, but some things do.

I LOVE to iron.. well, I do not LOVE it, but it is a fun thing to do, as I iron my work shirts every day.. spray starch too.. I have always wanted sleeve creases that you could literally cut yerself on  ;)

I cook, clean, sew buttons, snaps, seams, still learning to hem pants, I sew split/torn zippers..  I have been told I'm going to make someone a wonderful wife someday... oh how little did they know !!

Cool, ever sew? Years ago I was really good at making clothes. I made 2 or 3 very nice dresses. That was fun really & a challenge with the material, patterns, cutting it out, using sewing machine. Now I guess I'm too lazy. I just go shopping at Goodwill or other thrift stores. Sometimes you can find beautiful designer dresses so inexpensive.

I love to sew. I used to make some extra money as a tailor in the SCA. Someone once commissioned a whole male Elizabethan. That was great fun! I need a new sewing machine. My hand stitching is very good, but who has the time?

Next project after I get the machine, steampunk!
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!
