My dad came with me and my mum to therapy today.I had a short meeting with the therapist before my mum and dad had a session. I didn't think my dad would be very active or anything but apparently he was actually talking and asking a lot of questions (I wasn't in with them, I just know what my mum told me, she didn't say any specifics really)

Apparently he was mostly just concerned for any long term effects of hormones but otherwise it was really helpful for him! ^-^

Today my GBF took me out cloths shopping. I got some new panties, and get got a his and her watch pack but didn't need the female watch so he gave it to me    and to top the day off. Someone donated to my  Gofundme   GRS fundraiser. So it kinda put a small flicker at the end of that long tunnel.

Today after 1 month of hormone therapy I looked at my chest and my breasts seemed slightly larger than I had noticed in the past.  I touched them and they felt tender and I think I felt the beginnings of buds forming!!!  My nipples are especially sensitive...all of these things make me really happy!!  YAY finally some changes.

Also, today I looked at myself in the mirror after styling my hair and for the first time in this transition (this is my 2nd attempt to transition after a 2 year medical absense of hormones) I saw an inner femininity...I saw a beautiful woman in the mirror slowly rising to the surface.

My next treatment is next week. My lady is using NyFree hair removal, a warm wax that she uses to remove every hair, it opens the folicle & everything comes out. This will be my 8th or 9th session. My hair has greatly reduced after each time, it grows back much tinnner & finer. We did lots of normal electrolysis early on however this works well & we will zap the stubborn hairs later. From her I have less hair than some of her cis women clients. After a session my entire face is so smooth it's amazing & so nice. There is really no pain at all, she uses some numbing cream, then out it comes easily. We just talk gilf talk while she makes me pretty, then a facial after & I'm out to go shopping.

Day 3 of my Atkins diet. Boiled shrimp last night was delicious & zero bad carbs. I can feel & see some weight coming off so yea. There are so many nice women friends that use the Atkins diet, so that is so enjoyable to help each other with this common problem.

Being asked to be a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding in the spring. Thankfully it's far enough away that I should hopefully be passing really well by then.

I'm feeling so much better today. For whatever reason, my return flight from Portland to Albuquerque has a layover in Seattle. I'm not complaining, because I had a bowl of salmon chowder and got to stop by the Sub Pop store in the airport for some records I can't find back in Albuquerque.

I also got through spending time with the family without any fights or confrontations. My dad even seems to be talking to me again. I think he realizes that I'm still the same person. Overall, I think this trip was a success. Let's see if that keeps up after I've transitioned more.

I received a call back today from Kohl's today and they are offering me a position as a seasonal sales associate with an opportunity to earn a permanent position after the holidays, all this in my preferred gender and gender presentation. I'm so excited, orientation on Tuesday night. Yeah!!!!

My wife and I were in the checkout line at Target and this guy that was in front of us says, "OMG, your the tallest woman I've ever seen." (He was 2 inches shorter than my 6'7" self.)  He wanted to stand next to me to compare his height to mine and then asks if I have a boyfriend. I responded with no, but my wife is right here. My wife, says "Yes, she is my wife!". Then he goes OK, but I would still like to get to know you and says something to the (female) cashier about me. I replied that I'm perfectly happy with my wife.

When we checked out and he left, the cashier said to me, "I can't believe some of the things that guy said about getting with you two ladies, and I can't believe he would say those things to anyone, especially to another woman."

It was certainly a validating experience, but at the same time kind of annoying, but it was also validating for my wife.

A friend invited me to dinner after work, and I had some time to go home and I randomly decided to just ... screw going stealth. So I dressed up, and went out as female. For the first time ever leaving my home dressed as a woman.

It felt amazing. I was nervous at first, but as soon as I crossed the threshold of my home it was just amazing and I felt so bubbly and confident. Not to mention comfortable with myself and my appearance. Everything went well, walked around the mall and the restaurant and no one even looked at me, people just took it for granted I was a girl.

Such a great night ^^

One of my Bio family members has started to see me as me. Stopped by my parents' place after work to pick up some leftover football pizza, and what do I behold? A portion set a side for 'Amirsa.' I don't know if was my dad, my mom, or my younger brother who did it. I don't care if they got the spelling wrong for now. Its been six years since I came out to them and this is the first sign of it without me asking them to.

Oh I've seen other women as tall as you, Sydney... I think he was just using that as a pick up line, lol.

That's nice, I guess every marriage has a few arguments. Hope you both enjoy making up GF.
