Ran my 3 mile in just a little over 22 mins. Not used to long distance. I took a Marine PT test on the treadmill. Felt good. Would like to get it down to 18 within the next couple months

Nice thread.  You all are so lovely!

What's making me happy today is the breath-taking beauty of this cold sunny winter day in Portland, Oregon, because the beauty of the world around me makes me glad that I'm alive.

Such a nice truly happy post. I'm embrassed with some of my blah dull type recent posts. I apologize to everyone. I will do better.

Went shopping and not only restocked my sad, empty fridge, but also got some nice new underwear. :D This was followed by some tasty Indian leftovers for lunch and a refreshing nap that seems to have gotten rid of the faint headache I've had for the last couple of days.

Sometimes the simple things can be awesome. :)

Some guy held the door open for me at my local coffee stand. While I don't look female quite yet, it still made me feel good.

I had my first visit with a therapist yesterday.  It was great!  Just talking with somebody so comfortably made me feel better about myself.

Congrats. I'm so glad to hear that. It's amazing how it has that affect.

What made me happy today is that it is my boss's birthday, so my spouse made him an amazing chocolate cake and brought it to the office after lunch this afternoon.  It was great fun to have my spouse and our little 8 pound HavaShu puppy, Diablo, in the office for 90 minutes while everyone sat around swooning over Cookie's chocolate cake and giggling over Diablo's antics.  I loved having my little family in the office for a while because I miss them sorely while I'm at work all day every day.

I'm also happy that tonight I play 8 ball in pool league... playing pool is my passion.  I'm excited to (hopefully) kick some butt against 5 of the best pool players I know.  And even if I don't kick butt, I'll still be happy to be hanging out with 80 of my favorite pool buddies, drinking beer, talking smack, and smacking balls.  It don't get any better than that.

Just something little, comparatively, but it has taken me months to find a new coat (female) to replace the old ratty one I had been wearing. I finally found one! Rains a lot here so I needed an active wear coat. Found one at Eddie Bauer. One more step away from male life.

I saw one of my contacts's pout photo and decided to copy it and found that I looked good doing it. That is all. It's morning over here, btw, so morning!!

love u all!
played poker with 6 of my best friends. they all laughed at me and went off 'to the shop' to crack up in private, then got back to drinking smoking and playing the game. Turns out poker is quite easy when your head isnt full of dysphoria and depression, i came 2nd! had a great time. left my car lights on so flattened the battery and had to walk all the way home in a dress. wasnt too phased. usually idve been really angry and stressed but just laughed and practiced walking. amazing the difference coming out makes to your internal feelings. SO GOOD
i cant wait till i can switch over 24/7

The weather is sure nicer where I live, nice sunshine for a while. Last week with 4 days in a row or overcast was really getting to me. I've very happy for that.

So it's kind of minor in the greater context but ...

Last night at work I finally was brave enough to go to the women's bathroom!
As it turns out, it's not that I have extreme discomfort in going to public restrooms, but more so the fact I have extreme discomfort in going into guy restrooms. Now I know that.

Not quite so hot today so got on with some more painting.
It's slow work but the building looks so much better already.

8 years and it was looking pretty shabby.

Should have a much slower week at work this week.
First in a very long time.

Face was a bit swollen after a electro session. another 200 odd hairs gone.

So long and thanks for all the fish

I know that feeling. To go into a men's room always made my skin "crawl" as they say, so uncomfortable & such a strange feeling. Glad I'm not alone.

i went out with all my friends last night, straight guys and girls, dressed up as pretty as i could. it was so great. i feel like i can let the past 30 years of worrying and being scared about being caught crossdressing go after going out in public as a 'girl'. my team did the best at table football, i love being a striker! loving life.
bit hungover now mind you!

Just a quick question... How do I unsubscribe from this thread?  I made one post in November and now it is always in my "Replies to your thread" folder.  I haven't subscribed to it, well I did ONCE and then UN-subscribed to see if that would work, but it didn't.  So save your nails typing "Click Unsubscribe" because I have already tried that!  I love reading about good days, but it is an OCD thing for me to always have this in my unread file...

Thanks
Rae!

Raelynn: When you click on unread topics, then next to the topic is  a lil checkbox that says ignore, click on it and solved... At least that's how I check what I gotta read, dunno you....

Well... My flatmate who tends to be quite blunt and doesn't really do compliments much said my hair looked great :D (I hadn't washed it in 3 days.... I'm assuming dirty hair = good hair xD) aaaaaaaaaaaand my hips and bum have grown visibly coz she pointeed that out tooo :D To the point that my shoulders are less wide than my hips and  are finally balanced when I pull them backwards....  May not be much but made my mood a bit more tolerable today :3
