What made you happy today?, for MTF members please

Spent the last few days w/ some good friends who have been incredibly supportive since I came out to them.

Spent the whole time in ladies-wear, got a MASSIVE wardrobe donation from the lady of the house AND they were making the effort to call me Ally, (instead of my birthname) and gender me correctly.... And as an extra bonus, had their two young daughters do the same.

I've never felt so accepted and fortunate in my life.

First day of a long weekend down under.
National beer drinking day on Monday. They have a day for everything here.

Had a massively busy week at work doing may impossible things. Why do I get them all?
Client loves me and how I look after them.
Did some more painting today but got way too hot.

Back up to prescribed dosage of E as I had been trundling along on minimum.
I have talked to my endo about this and he is happy for me to do this.
I do like the days when I feel like taking it all.

Had some dark thoughts, not wanting to wake up during the week but they have passed. Not much fun.
Got my bonus for 2014 from work. More than I was expecting so that's good. Put it away against my home loan.
Also found out a girl I have been training up got a promotion due to my efforts. Bought some chocolates for her as the bigger team does not know yet.

Starting to get odd looks now. the E must be working well now.

Overall a quite week.
Now to rest up and go for a nice bike ride in the morning.

One more public space I've entered.  I went to my first move.  I went to see "The Boy Next Door"... Ok so it's a Lifetime movie on the big screen, I wanted to see a chick movie, and this fit the bill. 

Oh, I also went shoe shopping.  I added a pair of chunky 2" heels for work and a pair of nude pumps.  My new breast forms arrived in the mail as well.  I've up-sized from my A-to-B cup pads to a 40-C cup forms.  I tried it in my formal dress and va va voom....

Im running 400m more each day trying to get fit, did 3200 metres today, im starting to enjoy it after the slime stops coming out my lungs. And I got offered an interview as a concept artist at Bungie the people who make Halo and Karakter the ones who do the SFX for Game of Thrones today. working from home. dream jobs. And i got another pretty striped tshirt from Sainsburies for £6. 2015 is kicking ass so far!

Oh cos of the lovely Sarah's first vid, listened to bowie for hours. hes the best.

* Came out successfully to another friend.

* Just bought my ticket for the Against Me show happening the day before my birthday.

* Had a nice, old man let the "pretty, young lady" into a queue in front of him.

I...finally got scheduled for first official gender specialist appointment.

There will be much sadness and hurt later I am sure, but for now, celebrating the small victory. Now to make sure I am ready to spill my heart and soul out to a "stranger" so that I can move along further on the journey.

Yay for finally kicking myself another step down the road.

Phase 1 - therapy to get to hrt
Phase 2 -
Phase 3 - Get to be ME finally.

And yes, I realize there is a plethora of phase 2 info...underpants gnomes. I feel a bit like one right now trying to plan ahead...but...I am getting there.

Downside:
Nasty panic attack yesterday, totally out of the blue. Still reeling, but will be getting back on low-dose antidepressants ASAP and this time for life.

Upside:
Saw my boss today in tears to say I wouldn't be in this week. I was fearful that my anxiety had been affecting my work, because things have been tough lately. She knows all about my history but in the height of panic I had all these fearful thoughts.

My boss corrected me, said that she was amazed by my strength over the past 12 months. 18 months ago when I first told her Sarah is the real me, my boss said she 'wasn't sure of this Sarah creature' ... she comes from a conservative place ... but it looks like I have won her confidence and respect after all ...

She also said my work was top class and that we were all having struggles with our post-centralized system.

I feel so much better, just for having that little talk. When I go back on Monday I will be unstoppable :~)

Good girl. Just try to relax a bit and not let things get on top of you. You have lots of friends here and obviously at work.
