What makes me happy (usually every time I go out) is that I'm told by people I know, that I always look on point.

I take pride in always looking proper.

:icon_builder:  What made me happy today was , Last night I found some awesome things left behind at the beach, people are always litering the beach here and I decided to start picking up stuff, in addition to taking what is some good stuff. The law states that if you leave behind anything for more than 15 minutes unnatended, it legally no longer belongs to you. I asked a friend and a cop. Good to know :)

I heard back from my doctors office today that the insurance company has approved my nose surgery and so I am set to go under the knife on Friday.  Since I will already be under a general anesthesia I am also getting a trachea shave done.  Just one more little piece of the puzzle to get done.

Jess, another benefit is that as you get the white/grey hairs out, your skin also looks better.

While attending a locally our kingdom crown tournament, I started talking to a couple I've known for years.  After about 10 minutes of talking to them, he finally realized who I was...  I also got lots of compliments on my red/gold dress.

Today, I'm wearing a nice spring colored sheath dress to church.  I really love being a girly-girl

I really envy you girls.

I saw a woman I haven't seen in months...whenever we've met over the past couple years she's talked to me about my transition and lgbt stuff in general.

About a year ago, she basically came out to me but said she had been too scared to act on it...but having talked to me and seeing my "happiness and courage" in openly transitioning, she decided to get out and meet other women to see if she really was a lesbian...

Well, today she said she's now in a relationship and is thinking about moving in with her new partner! And she thanked me for being so cheerful and supportive with her questions and new direction.

That got me all giddy inside!

:)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Booked mom's flight to Seoul today. Used miles and just had to pay the taxes.

Oh and she asked for my size said she wants to buy me some stuff. :)

(I told her don't make good on her promise  she made when I was a kid to buy me a bra. I have plenty.)

Chicken satay, rice cooked in coconut water with peanuts, scallions and pineapple, steamed snow peas and dumplings.... What? This is the "what made you happy" thread not the "what are you having for dinner" thread? Oh... Um... Same answer!
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

First day back at work after full facial electrolysis last week. Thankfully, the swelling is almost completely gone and there's no redness to speak of, so no uncomfortable questions came up at all! My chin, which they did on the second day, is still fairly swollen and painful to touch, but it is not visibly so unless you look closely and notice that it's slightly shiny from the skin being taut.

Made my appointment to obtain my hrt prescription for tomorrow, enjoying my last day under the tyranny of testosterone. Less than 24 hours left... If it wasn't for the company of my Mom I don't know what state I would be in. Just one night's sleep and a very long (5 hour) car ride back to Boston left to go. I'm tense, tearfull and happy!

It still doesn't feel real, I almost can't believe it is true...

I was walking down the sidewalk in town today headed for my favorite used bookstore.  A woman was sitting on a sidewalk bench and her three little kids were running around like crazy as kids do, and one headed in a collision coarse with me. A quick child avoidance maneuver prevented a head on.  Then, she said "HEY, WATCH OUT FOR THE LADY".  I smiled at her as I walked by and it made my day  ;D.   Dani

Really happy w/ how I'm looking. Got my estradiol implant yesterday, hair freshly dyed a few days before that.... Wore my favourite skirt in public for the first time a few days back.... Yes, things are certainly moving in the right direction. :)

That must've made you feel really good Dani.   ;D

I woke up feeling much better today after having a bad time with CFS/ME symptoms for the past couple of days.  The sun is shining and I'm feeling much more positive about everything :)

I suppose our interest in HPV's isn't exactly that common nikkit and perhaps less so among trans-folk.  :)
