Yesterday, after having read a message that calmed by fears about scars in the scalp, looking at the cherry tree blossom and thinking that I could be happy. Because I would still be able to style my hair the way I want.

Today, looking at the shape of my boobs through a very fitting shirt. They always make me happy!

Hair, boobs, yes I know I'm vain but happiness is so precious :-)  And happiness is so meta too - allowing yourself to be happy brings in more happiness!!

Wonderful day!

Sweetie's been standoffish since my endo appointment at the beginning of the month. Today she let me cuddle with her on the loveseat and accepted kisses. Eventually we had to go out and do some shopping. On the way I saw a Harley for sale on the side of the roaf, pouted and commented. I'm up for two jobs at the retreat center she works for. She said if I got either one she'd be OK with me selling my car and getting another bike because we could commute together most days and wouldn't need two cars. Then she mentioned that I would have to dress better for work, a suit or "other" nice clothes, because I'd be dealing with benefactors to the nonprofit she works for. This is her oblique way of mentioning me wearing feminine attire. Things are definitely better. Progress!

Progress indeed Dee, congratulations  ;D

That's wonderful Kate, - feels great doesn't it  :)

Been raining for a while and today was clear so got out on my super bike with the nice wheels today.
Did 100k so feel good.

Look down and boobage is continuing nicely. They are really filling out nicely.

100k on a bicycle!  Suddenly I feel so old and past it.  I used to be able to do that  :'(

Got my "cast" off my nose today. It looks pretty good and even better I can actually breathe through it!!

Congratulations Jessie, on both the Name/Gender marker change as well as your nose.  I'll have to see this in person some time.
Hugs,

It makes me happy that this thread is so large.  Great to have a stream of positive that just continues to grow.
Also happy to see the flowers all out and about.  I could do without the pollen but am loving all of the flowers.

As for me, I've had a busy weekend.  On Friday I got my 11th-12th hour of electrolysis, then meet Eva.  We had dinner then went to a group meeting.

I went to see a local production of Measure for Measure.  This was my first public social outing where I saw people who know my male self but I've not told that I am crossing the gender spectrum.  So, I wore my black feminine slacks, and black and white chevron top, with black hose and flats.  I was just about the best dressed woman there,  most were in jeans, with a couple showing up in skirts.

I'll have more good news soon..

I started a list recently, its called Woman Memories and Thoughts. Basically, I write things down from my past where I had  a certain reaction to life that was influenced by the fact that I was a woman and not a man. I keep adding to this list, and it is very empowering.

I feel like I am taking my life back, and it is giving me a stronger sense of my connection to self and my history. The fact that it helps to dispel dissociation and fear makes me VERY HAPPY!!!

We are taking our lives back!!!

Waxed my arms today. I was due!

Also, I finally regained access to an old angelfire (remember them?) webpage with an old, embarrassing photo on it, so I was able to remove it! Yay!

Hello all, I am new here and I am at the start of my of my journey to happiness, its been a rocky road to this point, I am 32 and finally worked out what I wanted; the best thing that happened to me is I told my parents, family and friends of the decision and they have all been supportive. This was my first big step and now onward and upward. :)

Welcome Sally.

Coming out to your family can be the most challenging thing we do because we don't know how our family will really react.  Most of mine has been supportive but my dad and step-mom are troubled by the fact that a "Christian" shouldn't be transitioning.

I'm so glad you have your family's support.

Fortunately for you have also found a second family that will be supportive and full of useful information for you.  Welcome to Susan's where we are all family....

Hugs Girl!!!

Today my wife and I went to get lunch at a local deli.  As we were leaving, the manager looked at us and said without hesitation:  "Have a nice day ladies!"

I had on zero makeup, wearing just a t shirt and jeans, and hadn't shaved because I have electro in the morning...  needless to say I wasn't feeling especially pretty today....

Idk if he has any idea but that manager just totally turned my day around!  :)

This is somewhere between happy and really freakin' weird.... talked to my mom on the phone and my HRT came up. I mentioned that my chest was hurting a bit, and she asked if there were bumps. I said yes, and she told me that's how it started for her, too.

So I mean, uh, wow. This is way high on the list of things I never thought I'd discuss with my mom..... I mean, WAY high. But it's amazing to me that she was that cool about it, and when I get over the weirdness, it makes me really happy. :-)

That is so wonderful! Now that is acceptance!

This made me smile. I have to admit that I wonder how my mom would take my transition.
