Today I had my 2nd appointment with my doctor. We talked. I start T next Thursday. I even fessed up about my history of an eating disorder and she's fine and supportive. I can't believe next Thursday I start T. That's just so fantastic. She also said that she will support me changing my gender marker. That's a bit down the road but woo hoo.

And then I went to the courthouse and submitted the paperwork to change my name. There were no judges available so it won't go through until Monday but I'm going to get rid of the stupid name I've been stuck with. And once I get the court order I can change my license and bank card and get the right name on it and an updated picture.

This is real. It's happening.

3 more days and I start T. I am so excited about that. Having said that, I am having a bit of... anxiety I guess. I had a chiropractor appointment and realized that the next time I'm there I will have to tell them my new name. It just hit me. All these people I deal with day to day, and I'll have to deal with their reactions. So, I'm freaking out a bit I know it will pass.

I am bummed that I didn't get a call that my name change went through. They told me I'd get a call, so I guess tomorrow I will call the court house.
