This is all very hypothetical, I'm turning 18 in June, I've been on hormones for a year on my birthday and I've been presenting since I was 15. I've heard recently that North Carolina bcbs has started covering Trans surgeries and it's only a matter of time before Virginia covers them aswell, since I've heard people in other parts of the US pay less than 3,000$$ if their insurance covers their procedure. I want to go to Brassard  and I was curious whether it would be covered out of the US or not?

You would have to check 100% with your policy but most insurance companies allow you to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed after you submit the paid bill.

Wish you luck.

You'd have to have an actual policy in hand, but I believe most do not cover for GRS performed outside of the US. Especially since there are so many options here.
