My counselor seems to think me and my gay best friend are going to start dating

It's somewhat annoying, actually, that my counselor seems to have this notion that since I'm male, and will be transitioning in the next year or so, that me and my best friend (who is completely gay) will start dating. He wouldn't, I know, because he likes penis, and I'm not having bottom surgery, so I definitely wouldn't have what he wanted in a guy, and I don't like penis, at all, besides other FTMs, and that's on more of an emotional level than physical, so, I mean, we would never "work out." What's even more annoying about that is that we're best friends; we could never be lovers the way things are now. Neither of us have those type of feelings for each other at this point. We're just very, very best friends.

Has anyone else had this happen? People assuming that, with your coming out/transition, someone you know will start dating? Or have you had a friend develop feelings for you after coming out/transitioning?
