How can I make my appearance more feminine?

Here's the story if you don't already know. This summer I'm going to be getting my hair done into a female style, start a 30 day crash course to develop my feminine voice, buy a new wardrobe, and just be a girl. However, that isn't enough. I'll still look like a boy. What can I do to help fix that? My appearance is sort of feminine at times. What I mean by that is, when I do things like put on lipgloss, shave, or style my hair my face tends to look a bit feminine but it's definitely not enough. Also, how do I measure my dress size? Since my chest will be flat should I just measure that a different way? I'm confused. Thank you all so much in advance as usual. You all help me so much and I appreciate it always.

any pic of yourself ? you can send me through PM if you like (if you dont want to show in public), I am not a fashion stylish , but I sometimes help my friends with their clothing, hair & make-up

imo, forget about your voice at moment, let concentrate on your look first  ;)

I think that is just not going to happen unless you are there already. Most here spend years and even surgery getting the right voice down. :)

Pinkie, you'll have to work with us here, dear..

First, why do you want to change?  How long have you felt this way? Have you talked to anyone in your family about this? Have you found any therapists?  Where are you, which country/continent?

Hi Pinkie

There are all kinds of resources on how to look more feminine including the Beauty forums right here at Susan's  :)

There are also a variety of magazines with helpful tips and many of those have websites as well  :)  Try running a search for 'beauty tips' or a good woman's magazine you can think of in your browser and see what you come up with

It would however be helpful to see a picture so we know what to suggest in order to help you

Please don't say to lose weight. That's something that makes me depressed to and it's something I'm trying to work on.

you look quite feminine already , your face looks very clean & without any 5 o'clock shadow ... thats good start ..

you look very young as well

hair : can you grow your hair longer , is it against school rule ? or buy/borrow your mum's hair gel/spray & ruffle (not sure its right word LOL) your hair a bit to make it voluminous like this

dress : if you are worried about your weight when you buy dress/top, try black & dark grey color .. or vertical stripes dress like this

make up : nude color lip gloss you were wearing in your pic looks great on you .. with your skin , try pink blush for your cheeks (rimmel,lóreal,or maybelline are not expensive and easily find in store) , and for eye shadow, depends on what you will be wearing & what's your favorite color ...  ;)

hope this might help you a little bit
