Serenation

Hi everyone, I have had little interaction in my life with community or support groups. Transitioned over a decade ago in a small rural town in Australia. Seems like a friendly forum.

Maybe I can help some of the people who are newer to this and learn some things from those who are more experienced.
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.

Hello Serenation welcome.  Yes this is a friendly forum and the Australian contingent seems to be growing daily. Having visited a few of our rural towns myself in the past myself my I say I'm in awe of you please how did you do it.  While I have found them to be straight shooters I can't imagine how difficult it could of been for you.
So let me give you a big East Coast hug :icon_hug: and say welcome to Susan's

Welcome Serenation!

Another of the Aussie contingent wandering by to say hello..

I came out as a gay guy in a smallish rural town in the 90's.. An interesting experience that didn't do the way I expected at all..

Hi kelly , Hi Immortal thanks hugs.

Hug thanks, I'm from east coast also. Transitioning was not so bad for me as I had pretty severe androgen deficiency, so people where already used to me being feminine I think half of them never knew I wasnt female in the first place, those that did where happy I was finally doing something about it, and those that I had to tell I was transitioning were like ok that makes sense.

Of course my family and some friends took it very hard. Lost some friends, made some new ones.
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.
