I went shopping with my mom today (both because she was paying and because I need the fashion advice), we intended to buy one shirt and one blazer that would certainly need to be altered.

Instead, we find two almost-perfectly fitting blazers (one classic navy, one a more casual khaki linen) and 4 button-up shirts that fit (two more casual and two formal) ALL on sale. The sleeves on the blazers are a tad long but not too bad. I'll probably look at one of those nicer shirts online too to see what other colors it comes in, because the first one I tried on was too light and thin but the darker one I tried looks great.

I'm so glad that I am now on my way to owning enough male formal clothes to get by. My khakis and polos weren't cutting it. I still need to look for some trousers, but I've got the most expensive part, I think.

That's great!! Congrats man, we all know how good it feels to finally get some masculine clothes. I personally would be head-over-heels happy on a find like that.  :D

That's awesome, man. Remember you can always have a tailor shorten the sleeves on the blazers to get the fit just right.

I am wild with envy. It's almost enough to make me wish my mother were still alive.  :o

Congratulations!
