Can anyone recommend a sperm bank in the San Francisco Bay Area? I'm not sure I'd ever want to have kids, but it seems smart to hedge my bets.

Also, I can't find anything on how long the sperm lasts, is there a limited window of viability? I couldn't find a wiki page on this, so I think I'll make one once I learn more!

Thank you all so much

Since I started this thread a while ago and didn't get any real responses, I figured I'd update with some info in case someone else was looking.

I found three places in the Bay Area:

The Sperm Bank of California in Berkeley
http://www.thespermbankofca.org/

California Cryo in Palo Alto
http://www.cryobank.com/

Pacific Reproductive Services in San Francisco
http://www.pacrepro.com/index.htm

The Sperm Bank of California isn't opening new accounts until the end of the year, so I'm going to be going with Pacific Reproductive. Frankly, I'm not sure I want to have kids, and if I do, I'm not sure I'd want to be with another woman, but I don't see how it hurts to keep options open.
