Because it seems mine are doing just that! Or am I most probably imagining it? ::)

Mmmmm

Maybe 'fluttering' at cute guys has lengthened them?

Heee Heee

Ms Grace darling, if you are using minoxidil for hair growth on your scalp, as a side effect, they sure will!

Other than that, I don't know ;D

Without any direct application to the eyes?  Best side effect ever.

Really? Cause I use that and lately it's seemed like mine are getting longer.

I wish! 25 yrs on hormones...not a mm growth!

I believe it's actually testosterone that influences eyelashes, ironic as that is. :)

Being 47XXY it is hard for me to tell. They have changed texture being on "E" though.  :)

I don't know it's a lot easier for me to use the fake ones

Yep. And if you use your fingertips to rub the minox in, you'll probably notice stronger knuckle hair growth as well (if it hasn't been lasered already).

Don't exactly know. Mine have got much better but whether it is E or the eye drops I started about the same time as HRT for Glaucoma that are the cause - probably the drops as it is mentioned as a side. Rather have no eye lashes and good eyes than what I have. A small consolation prize?

If the drops are Xalatan then that is definitely the cause of the longer lashes. I was taking it as a kid and they probably doubled in density and got 50% longer... I was pulling at least 30 out a day just to keep them from tangling.

Hey,

Monoxidil or E or T jumping up on occasion – don't know but mine got longer!

Hugs,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

When I was on e and spiro no, but now on e, bicalutamide, dutasterdie, and minoxidil they have grown a bit. They have always been long enough to touch my glasses but now they are thicker.

Based on what others have said minoxidil is probably what caused the growth, and that is temporary in its effects
15 years on Susans, where has all the time gone?

Ah, very curious! Yes, I am using Minoxidil. Obviously not rubbing it into my eyelids but I guess some of it must migrate down or something? I had read on Wikipedia (so it must be true) that men in fact tend to have longer eye lashes than women and I thought it was unfortunate that mine were originally quite short. So anyway, maybe I'm not imagining this after all. :)

The drops are Xalatan so that explains that.

I don't like how short mine are and they don't seem any longer to me at all.  If it happened for you, then be grateful for your luck :)

Oh lord I hope not.  I am the envy of every cisgender woman I know in that department.  I don't want them getting longer than they already are. :O

Mine haven't changed i kinda wish they were fuller and longer. Maybe I should try this xalatan to let them grow.

Yep. Hair growth is T-related. I've often heard women complain about men having longer/fuller eyelashes. Topical minoxidil should not affect growth anywhere but where it's applied but if you're taking it orally for blood pressure, it might have a general hair growth effect, including some places where you probably don't want it.
