I posted surlier this week that did anyone think that going with the Gothic look would be a good idea, I had a reply from Goldfish that did put things into perspective, and made me pause for thought, so... I decided to do some research. I live in Birmingham UK, and I was pleasantly surprised that we do have a large Goth community here. I found that they were having a disco in town last night, so I decided to go. I got to the venue and was amazed to find how many types there were, Vampire, Romantic etc all incredible and beautiful in their own way. I bought a white wine and found a table with a spare seat, and asked if I could sit. The guy said no problem, after a while we got chatting (he was absolutely gorgeous), I said that I loved the look and the romance of it all. He nodded and pointed out the differing types, I asked if they had any issues in the city and he said no that most people left them alone, suddenly e said what would you go for, I looked around and saw a tall girl at the bar, and I blurted out that one, and pointed to her. He raised his eye brows for a second, then said OK good, no problem and called her over. I shuffled on the stool, and crossed and uncrossed my legs nervously. She sat and we started chatting, Aaron by this point had gone. She was called Keisha, and she started to ask questions about my interests, we gelled almost immediately. After an hour or so she said what are you doing tomorrow? I said nothing really, her next words nearly had me fainting. Meet me in town and we will go and get what you need, have a drink, then if you like I will come to your house and I will show you how to do your makeup, she then said you are a bit flat chested but I can do something about that, but a good figure, your hair is long enough and with white extensions should look really good. I blurted out, your OK with this, she just giggled and said of course, we don't judge I thought you were a girl when I first saw you.. And if your scrub up well enough, you can come out with us all on Sunday!! I nearly passed out. So I am off in ten minutes, scared, nervous and excited all at once. There is a GOD. Let you know how it all goes.
