Hey there!
I should probably start by saying that my user name is currently the predominant one of three names I'm seriously considering in my transition and is not my set-in-stone "real name." I'm a new user but I've lurked for a while, since my partner Declan is fairly active on here.
Let's see, I'm a 23-year-old bisexual but strongly gay-leaning FTM, I'm a practicing Norse pagan and I work from home as a professional writer and web developer. Don't expect great grammatical feats from me "off-duty" though, I use all my brain cells at work.

I've been at least dressing as male for years with long gaps of people-pleasing here and there. I come from a very abusive family of religious zealots (whom I had to cut off for safety reasons), so wearing men's clothing was all I could get away with until college.
Thanks to the encouragement and support of my incredible partner, I've been able to actually come to terms with and accept who and what I really am. I knew I was male from early childhood, but the older I got the more it became that I had to transition. Next week will be my first medical appointment for transgender care, although I have no idea how quickly it will progress from then on. I'm trying not to get my hopes up in case something goes wrong, but I'm still on the border of being too giddy to function.
Rambling aside, I'm really looking forward to being part of the community and learning from other trans guys as well as the ladies on what they go through. So, thanks for having me!
