I am just not getting this and I dont know why.  I read the post on this (I think it is on page 3 here on FAQ) and it is stated that it is fairly straight forward.  Well maybe I'm missing something because I have not found the browse button for searching my comuter in order to upload a pic.  I have figured out the img thing for putting up an url for a photo sharing website.  I started a Photobucket account just for that purpose.  Any help?  Thanks Dani

This is how it looks for me.

Log into Photobucket --> Upload --> Drag a photo (for Apples) or "Choose Photos or Videos"

Upon clicking "Choose photos or Videos" your little finder box will pop up and you just click whatever you want to upload. :D

Thanks Nimrata, I suppose I did'nt word that very clear.  I have Photobucket so that I could put a link in my Susans post prior to having my 1st 15 posts.  So I know how to upload pics from my computer to Photobucket, what I cant figure out is how to put a pic into my post here directly from my computer (like the upload from computer to your email). When I click on Attachments and other options here in post reply there is no upload button.  Does it have to be activated by a moderater?  Thanks,  Dani

The answer is, you can't. You have to use a image hosting site.

Much thanks Lord Kat, I'll go back to Photobucket and try to figure it out.  I just could not figure out how people get photos directly inside their posts.  All I can do is have an URL that a person has to click on in order to see the pic.  I'll try again.  Dani

Dani,
Not sure if this is what you mean.
Click the image box just above the smileys on the left and you will  get [img][img] put the url between the brackets. Save the post and the pic should appear

OK Cindy I think I may be getting close here.  ::)  What you explained is exactly what I did, but rather than an image getting put into the post it was an URL that a person had to click on which took them to Photobucket in order for them to see it.  I went to the help section and I think that rather than pasting from (a list of four types) IMG, I need to use DIRECT.  Ahhh, my kingdom for computer literacy.  :)  Will know in a sec.  Dani

Well lets see what shows up. Freakin YAY, it worked!  First pic I have ever posted.  By the way this is just a pic I took of myself a couple of days ago out by my woodpile as the mosquitos were having me for dinner.  Thanks Cindy.

I'm glad you figured it out. I'm a bit on the computer illiterate side myself.
