How to word facebook coming out

The time has come that I come out on Facebook and I have written this draft because I can be oblivious to others emotions via non-face to face interaction. Also I did steal some of it from Shodan, but she just wrote the first sentence so well that I stole it. Anyways suggestions and improvements are appreciated

Dear Friends and Family,

I'm transgender.
I've talked to some of you about this in person, and for those that I haven't, I apologize if you feel slighted in finding out through Facebook. This is not my intention. I'm simply at the point where I feel that a broadcast here will reach the rest of those closest to me and some that aren't as close. I've actively been transitioning over the last year. Currently I'm going full time as male while being referred to as **** and using male pronouns. I'm ok with questions, but keep them in the realm of appropriateness.
