It all started with my Dad coming to California. I hadn't seen him in a very long while, and I had told him about me being transgender and he didn't really say anything about it. I was scared to see him and talk to him about this because he hadn't said much about it. So I was scared he was mad or upset or just didn't give a crap and wouldn't except it. My dad grew up in California and he hadn't been there in awhile so he wanted to see his childhood house and see an old friend named Max. So we went to go see Max and I was about to introduce myself, when my dad cut me off and said "this is my daughter Miyah. "  :o ??? ;D

Holy frak! I was just about to introduce myself as mason. Which I don't like doing. My dad realized I didn't have the courage to, so he stepped in and made sure his best friend new who I really was. This is the best feeling i've had in such a long time. It made me surge with delight that I, could be what I always had wanted to be. His daughter.
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication
