Yes, sorry, another question about boobs. But don't we love 'em?

So, after one year on HRT I am quiet happy with my breast growth. Happier than I thought I would be to be honest. What I'm wondering though is whether or not, over the next twelve months, I can expect the same amount of growth? In other words, is it possible to double in size during the second year of HRT puberty or is the growth rate likely to diminish?

The title of this made me think of the south park episode "Major Boobage". Basically Kenny gets high off of cat pee and enters a world where everything is made of boobs. Its a rip off of the movie heavy metal.

Varies from person to person. No way to know.

My breast growth took off for the first 10 months or so but they haven't really grown at all since. They've maybe rounded out a bit and the nipples have definitely grown, but almost no extra soft tissue has grown in what's going on 8 months now.

I bought a stretch type zipper up sweat work out thing awhile back and I was looking in the store windows at my reflection and noticed some major improvement lately at 9 months. I'm getting over the embarrassment and just having a good time. puberty is a wonderful thing

Hi!

Congrats on what you got!

Mine grow then stop,  grow then stop, grow then stop.

You'll grow

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

Mine haven't even started.    :'(

The information I've read from multiple sources vary on this a lot (textbooks included). Which is no big surprise as sex reassignment therapy in general is not an exact science :-) .

One source says full A cup to small B over 2-3 years depending on age, another says to expect one cup less than the average in family or woman you share most genetics with (in my case that would be my older sister and I hope mine won't grow that far as I seriously don't want another spine issue) within 3-4 years. Then of course the dosage is mentioned.

So even though we probably will never have an exact answer the estimated thing is that breast would develop at steady rate for two years and then the rate of development gradually slows down over the next year or two. Maybe I should use the word guesstimate instead of estimate though :-) .

Stick with the old adage 1 cup size lower than family members?

So if you're not quite there, maybe there's hope for more?  :)

I know you're sensible enough to wait for 2 years before considering a BA.

Two years - still growing in fits and spurts.

I did ask my surgeon about a BA and he said it was too early - at least for me, but as ever YMMV.

I think I can safely say I'm never getting a BA regardless of my final size...

Gosh, if I was one size smaller than my sister I would easily be a DD if not more...  :o

Yeah I'd say so, the most growth I've had was in my second year. Now going into my third year my breasts are still growing. At a full A, small B depending on the bra company but yeah we can't really gauge how much growth we will have until at least a good 5 years on estrogen imo. I'm a late stage 3 according to my doc. Since our bodies for the first few years are making the drastic change from testosterone to estrogen. Plus I've read that when your testes are removed you gain a bit more growth/fullness.

Also I gained the second mound on my right breast in the past 6 months and now my left seems to be getting it too. I have a feeling I'll be a full B by next year  :)

My breast did a lot of growing in the first year.. at the end of year 1, i was a small C... and I reached a D cup by the end of the second year.

and the one cup size smaller than the females in your family.. for me... that was not true.. My mother also has D cup breasts.. I actually wear a bigger bra than her. she wears a 34D vs my 36D.

but remember... Breast growth comes down to genetics..

Well, if you get sufficient cleavage without having to resort to them, fantastic!  As with all prostheses, maintenance required.  :/

My view on final breast size for me is like this this:
- half A: I can live with that, push-up bra can fill the rest (current stage)
- A: OK, that's fine
- B: Great
- C: Bonus
- D: Stop growing please

I don't know my older sister's exact size and I hope I won't get too close and be one of the few who consider a reverse BA :-) . My spine is damaged enough from my eye-sight (guess how close I'm to the display and try guessing the font size as well ;-) ) so too much of extra weight in the front would be a bit too stressing.

I think for me its going to be:
A or less: BA required
B: darnit I guess I can live with it
C: PERFECT!
D: yeah no more

This is just a guess though. I won't know until I start HRT and they start growing.

I think it depends... just like with cis girls, some people develop fast and early, some slow and steady. (And final size doesn't seem to correlate with speed of growth at all.)

I actually did start HRT and end up 42DDD at a bit over four years, though I may not be that person mentioned; however, I'd say my growth *definitely* slowed a lot over time. I was 42D at the end of the first year, after all. Also, in my experience and based on what the puberty guides for girls say, the initial development gives way to a much slower "fat distribution" stage that's sort of the capstone of breast growth; it's not as obvious and takes longer than breast tissue to arrive, but is what gives breasts that pillowy softness when fully matured. I'm fairly sure *that* stage is still going on for me, albeit very slowly; for my wife, it lasted basically 10 years - from age 15 to 25 - and she was a 36C at 15 and 36J at 25, so it CAN add a lot!

(My mother is 34A and my sister 36D, but my paternal grandmother was apparently very busty. Genetics are weird.)

There isn't a rule of thumb because a lot of factors beyond just genetic propensities come into play, fluctuating hormonal levels, weight gain and loss, gravity and changes in structure of connective tissues and hydration levels. I've been on HRT for a number of years and didn't experience as much change in the first ten as I have during the second ten years. My spouse's breasts have gone from 34B to 34D during that same time without any appreciable weight gain. Neither of us are spring chickens.

its like the kentucky derpy you dunno which cup is gonna win the race. My first year, I barely got past AA, now 6 months into my 2nd year im a large B pushing small C and still growing.
