I was out in public and, for some reason that makes no sense to me now I'm awake, I decided I needed to cut my left arm off.
Out comes the hack saw (which I conveniently had) and proceeded to saw it off at the elbow.
There was no pain and no blood, in fact it was as if my arm was dead wood, unneeded, brittle and dry. Mission accomplished I felt pretty proud of my achievement even though I knew people would think it an odd thing to do to myself.
Then I realised I had too many small things to carry, more than I could manage with one hand! D'oh! I started to panic, "had I made a big mistake??" Not to be defeated I rolled the items up in a large cloth (which I again conveniently had) and used my severed arm as the pole to carry it over my shoulder hobo style.
Again I thought that was pretty smart but as I walked "home" (not my real home) I started to worry that my father wouldn't understand why I cut off my arm and that there was now no way to undo it. I was still glad I did it though! And that's all I remember!
LOL, I couldn't make up stuff this funny, if I tried!

I am constantly having a driving wrong way on the interstate dream, with no way across the median, to go the other direction.. I have this dream, for the last couple weeks, at least every other night.
Holy Cow! Those sound like a frigg'n Nightmares!
In studying premonitions, I learned that the significance of a dream that is especially compelling is not the entire content of the dream, but what is included in the dream, termed, a 'Time Stamp.' The time stamp gives you some sort of clue - visual, audio, emotional, whatever - to tell you when the premonition will come to pass. Now, don't think that I run around looking for these things, or that I experience them very often - I don't, and rarely even pay attention to my dreams.
But for instance, I dream that I'm sitting in my living room on a recliner, when I suddenly find myself buckled into the seat of a jetliner flying through the air. The plane crashes into another plane and the seat is thrown into the sky with me in it. I look across and see a mouse buckled to a seat and falling with me. We both hit the ground, but I'm not dead. I get up and see the mouse, severely injured, and I feel like I've lost my best friend. Suddenly, it starts snowing, and I look up and taste the snow on my tongue and lips. Well, in real life, the next day there is a prediction for snow in two days. Two days later, I go outside, look into the sky and taste the falling snow on my tong and lips. Then, I realize that this is the time stamp. I think about the mouse and the feeling that I'd lost my best friend. Then, I run to my dog and watch him with careful observation, realizing that he's sick. I take my dog to the vet, who is able to save him from an extremely slow acting rat poison that affects the liver, but which is treatable only because I got my dog to the vet, in time.
Premonitions, time stamps and dreams.
