So...after dawdling around on this website for a while now, I've decided to introduce myself.
I go by Jay, and after a long identity crisis I have (finally) concluded that I am genderfluid. I have already told my mother, but my friends are not aware just yet. I suppose it won't be much of a shock to them, as I have been dressing and acting either male or female for quite some time. A number of people have already given me the "what gender are they?" stare, but I try not to let it get under my skin. As long as I am happy and confident with who I am, I should not have to care what other people may or may not think. I will still worry, of course (as I am not indestructible), but I shall try to keep in mind what really matters.
Just by realizing who I want to be has made me feel entities better about myself, and I hope to help other people achieve the same kind of bliss. I joined this website in hopes of gaining and providing advice and support for people who are in similar positions. A sense of community and belonging is always nice. I may be new to everything, but maybe someone out there can make use of my newbie tips.
______
A little bit about my interests and such, as I didn't mention any above:
+ I enjoy drawing, reading, writing, and thinking.
+ I listen to a lot of music, but I have no preferred genre.
+ The universe and everything in it is awesome and terrifying and I could spend hours talking about it.
+ If you let me play with your hair I will love you forever.
+ Languages are great and I will learn as many as I can within the amount of time that I have on this Earth.
