So yesterday, sitting at waffle house in boy clothes, a girl asks me if I am trans.

Today, my coworker said I look like a "chick" and repeated it.

Yes, there comes a day on HRT where you can't hide it anymore.

Going to attempt to tell my coworker why in about 10 mins. Then I am going to ask him how to approach my boss. Then my coming out process is complete and I can throw away my boy clothes.

I would hate for this step to be upon me and still be alone in telling people. Get the news out before your body will tell them for you.

Feeling good and nervous at the same time. Maybe good just because I am so close. Nervous because my future can depend on the next few minutes.
Yep.
I am me. I am out to the world. Loving life and making peace with me.

Also I would like to note that my boss is not bound by discrimination law. He has 2 employees, but he likes me and was born in the South Pacific. I am hoping this is not new to him.
Yep.

I had the opposite problem.. Seems most people were waiting for me to work it out.. lol

Coming from the South Pacific, he's probably familiar with the fa'afafine - who are 3rd gendered people with the greater Samoan culture.. Not quite the same, but should be close enough for your purposes..

It was mixed response from my coworker.

His answers in percentages were,

Got a 50% no one should be discriminated against for being gay

and a 50%, he wants to see me in a dress.

Yep.

Yep, a guy said maam to me today when I was in my gender nuetral clothes. Decided I just have to start presenting at work, so I went back and just did it.

Congratulations and good luck in future progress. I'm sorry some people aren't cool about it. Hopefully they'll get used to who you are.

Glad it went well and glad people are noticing! How long have you been on hrt?
"What do you fear, lady?" he asked.
"A cage," she said. "To stay behind bars until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire."

Well now, it will be about 8 months.
Easing into life. Finding myself more comfortable with myself, but also finding some of the limitations on some things I guess. Work life is going unusually well, but love life is in the pits. Seems the majority of the types of people I am interested in don't share the same feelings while all the people I am not interested in look at me like I am a piece of delicious rumpmeat. It's not attractiveness or being successful that make me interested in someone so much as a sense of living a completely unstereotypical walking-contradiction lifestyle similar to how I do.
Yep.
I am me. I am out to the world. Loving life and making peace with me.
