Anyone in Canada?

My partner and I are planning to move to Canada, i was wondering if anyone
who lives there transition, what are there things to expect.

There are a few of us around. It depends which province or territory you're moving to.

I'm in Toronto and I can say that in most parts of Southern Ontario and Quebec you will be fine, I know plenty of girls here in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and surrounding towns and the community is mostly quite tolerant and the legal environment is fairly good. We are are not perfect but we are certainly getting there.

Based on what I've heard you would also be fine in Vancouver.

The more rural areas of the country might not be as tolerant as the metropolitan areas, this being said I know a girl that works as a truck driver and regularly makes coast to coast trips stopping at various gas stations and trucker stops around the country without issues.

I am in the Montreal area.

Only thing hard here is finding the support in doctors. Its so hard finding a GP here. Takes years on a list waiting.

Long, long waiting is the only real trouble here i find. Not a lot of doctors to see for community help.

Just have to remember there are trans-phobia every where so i do not think anywhere is totally safe.

  I am in Saskatchewan. It doesn't matter where you land in general Canadians are fairly open minded. Most feel that if they dont like what you are doing.... they tend to just ignore you. Other countries tend to expect you to change to serve their comfort levels.  The heath care here is easier financially but depending on where you live it can have longer wait times. Ontario has been having issues for years. I have driven all over North America and honestly the Canadian provinces tend to be not so scary for anti anything. Mean people sux... they are everywhere.  Doesnt mean you have to let them get the joy of making you feel awkward.  Canadian laws are also more open minded than other countries. Immigration  can be tedious but possible as I personally know because my wife is American.
