CHICAGO — Cross-sex hormone treatment of transgender adults leads to very few long-term side effects, according to the authors of the largest study to date to examine this issue.

Apparently it requires a log-in so I put up the full study here: http://pastebin.com/risyv3bs

Personally, I was completely aware that sex-reassignment treatment wouldn't magically solve all my problems.

Requires a login unfortunately. I'm a little concerned about taking pills because of the side effects with liver damage. I heard other methods are safer. I don't want to look like a junkie from injections though either. The patch sounded like a better method. Of course I'm only about to start therapy today.

What? I just clicked it and I can see the entire information.
Give me a few minutes, I will put it up on PasteBin.

Thanks I can see that. Unfortunately it doesn't answer my question as to which method is safer. It says nothing about methods. However 1-4 out of 2000 isn't bad, but how do we know that 90% of them were using injection, which I've heard is the safest method. I was hoping it would give statistics by method and requested gender.

Unfortunately were a very small part of the population which makes it difficult to do proper scientific studies.
