Thanks, Ally! I like this photo because it's the closest to looking like what I see in the mirror, if that makes sense. Most of my selfies just do not come out like I think I look. And I am at that point where I'm a woman going about her day. It was cold and I had not showered that day. I had been to the store and had left kids books in the car. It's the mundanity and reality of being a woman that most of us really want to achieve. Nothing glamorous. Just. Just life.

Thank you, Ally! I can't wait for my hair to grow longer. I shouldn't have cut it last month. In November, I'll try to put on some make-up. It's about time. I am totally clueless on how to do that so I guess it's time to look for help haha.

Been wanting to do this ever since my awesome picture of me with my new glasses.

Me, about a year before coming out to myself:


Me, right as I started going to therapy, which was about a month or two after coming out in February 2013


I believe I took this right as I started taking low doses of Spiro, which would have been September/Octoboer of 2013. Maybe earlier.


This is me, probably around May. 7 months HRT:



This weekend. 11 months HRT (no makeup or anything):


Those last two was the first time I've ever really saw myself as female. Yes, I've got a little bit of work to do, but I think I've jumped the major hurdles already.
