it was really due to being confused on what my dosages should be and since its female hormones, why not try an ob/gyn since apparent i'll need one later on but she has done this before so its not like she cant do it, its just she wanted me to go to a female hormone specific doctor, which by the way, i will never see a male doctor ever again, not even if its for a consult.

Let's see if I have this right. An Endocrinologist who specialize in Endocrine and Metabolism issue's was not capable of starting you on HRT. He sent you to an OB/GYN who is tasked with the specialty of women's reproductive and anatomical issue's and is not even close to being able to prescribe MtF HRT, but only women's common endocrine issue's with puberty and natural aging processes. How did you find out this was the reason she would not see you? Have you talked to your GP? Something does not add up here big time.

my endo is a she. its confusing situation, but all is well now, and yes my GP is well aware of the situation and he said i may as well go back to my endo. she initial said she'd do my monitoring but a the time i was in the process of receiving my letter so the appointment was to go over blood work and informed consent type of deal. she said call when i get my letter. my doctor called and she said she wanted me to try an ob/gyn first and see what happens since they are basically female specific doctors. well since i saw one and he just basically called me a dude and said get out his office saying he cant help me, my GP said its time i go back to my endo and thus we enter this chapter of my story.

The same one who did not know simple dosages?? You better get new doctors all the way around. None of them sound competent in the least. An Endo who does not know doses, an OB/GYN who calls you a dude and a GP that sends you back to the first incompetent? Run, don't walk to all new health care providers. Personally this sounds like a circus.

I know that doesn't help you much, we live somewhere over the rainbow...

well i'm not fortunately like most people. i have to make due with what i have or bury myself 6 feet under. those are my only options. i wish i can say i have more but thats simply not realistic, but again, not going there lol
