So let's try to do a proper presentation!

My name is Casandra and I'm a 27 years old (born 1987) transgirl from Spain (actually living in Spain too).
Came out to my family as androphile and trans at 21, started HRT at 22 and began living fulltime at 24. Actually I'm unnemployed (JAA CPL), living with my parents and with my "little" (he's 21) brother who I adore.

My interests can be resumed in:

  • Reading: Mainly science-fiction, from typical space opera (i.e. Frank Herbert's "Dune") to more "hard" sci-fi books (i.e Arthur C. Clarke's "2001: A Space Odissey"), not forgetting about great cyberpunk classics like William Gibson's "Sprawl Trilogy" or Philip K. Dick's "Do androids dream of electric sheeps?". Also I enjoy some medieval fantasy novels like Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series.
  • Watching: Some series like "The Big Bang theory", "Game of thrones" or "True detective". Thriller/scifi movies like "Pulp fiction", "Blade runner", "Reservoir dogs", "The crimson rivers", "Lock, stock and two smoking barrels", etc etc.
  • Exercising: I like spinning, running, pilates and calisthenics workouts, six days a week.
  • Playing: I love playing PC games, specially FPS's and ARPG's.
  • Listening: I'm way eclectic, I can listen almost to everything. All subgenres of rock (Joe Satriani, Sublime, AD/DC, The Hives, Franz Ferdinand, The Cardigans, Motorhead, A Perfect Circle, Ten Years After, Jeff Beck...), jazz (Pat Metheny, Chet Baker...) and electronic music (especially from labels like Defected, Rephlex or Ninja Tune).
  • Other stuff: Shopping, cats, chocolate, cooking, italian food, computers, chocolate, fashion, beauty.
Think that's all for now. Very nice to meet you and join this community!

Hey Cassie gal, so great to meet you.  I have been to Spain many times, although it was along time ago the 1980's.  Carnary Island -- I especially liked Tenerife -- Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Zaragosa.

I don't know if it is against the rules here to speak in a language other than English -- I will go ahead and do it and someone please correct me and I won't do it publicly again only via personal message (PM) -- or is there a requirement if I want to write in Spanish to post a simultaneous translation to English...if so gals, I can easilyh do this...

English is my native language, but my Spanish is really flluent after 8 years of living full-time in Latin America...

Cassie, possibly you may be able to tell what country or part of Latin America I live in by the particular style of spanish I speak...

Okay, here goes in Spanish...

No usamos "vosotros" aca, obviamente...Ustds. dicen "billete" y aca decimos "boleto."  Usteds.dicen "parada" y aca dicimos "escala."

Mucho gusto es quizas y poco formal, entonces, tambien, que tal?

Abrazos,
Johanna.

Thank you!

Judging from your speaking I'll bet you're living in Mexico.

About "spinning", in fact it is a loanword from english, but here everybody uses it.
