I have now heard back from two different surgical facilities, both of which I have sent my photos into with a brief medical history on what facial surgeries Ive had performed in the past. I guess I must of had the same sort of problems as everybody else, in trying to find out about FFS in Korea. I think its because they just do not use the same terminology as us, but yes from what I have found out they can definitely feminize a male face. Apparently they are the world leaders in most procedures....... but get this, I also found out that half a step behind them are........you will not believe this..... the Greeks. Now that really shocked me. Anyways I sent them the same information that I sent to Korea, now Im just waiting to hear back from them all on what procedures they can do, and the cost. I do not know if the Korean and Greek surgeons are as advanced as say, Dr DiMagio is in Buenos Aires, at doing foreheads, but they might surprise me.

Both myself and Georgie Girl will hopefully be going to Korea together once we have heard back from them, and everything is as we hoped it would be. I am already of the opinion, because of what I've recently read and personal experience, that going to S/America or Mexico is very risky, apart from that is, Dr DiMaggio, but his prices are very high. We are forced now to look elsewhere, and after reading about the advanced techniques and equipment that they use in Korea, we are so glad that we did. They make all those previously mentioned facilities in S/America and Mexico seem archaic, and kind of "back street, slice em and dice em" places. We are so looking forward to hearing what the Korean places have to say that they can do for us. I'm guessing that from some of the prices that I've seen, even though they apparently inflate the prices for Westerners, that it is going to be as cheap, or even cheaper than Latin America anyway. I'm looking to at-least get my chin and jaw, and possibly my nose done in Korea [if they can deal with Western type noses], as is Georgie Girl. Then at a later date, voice surgery [all being well with the girls who have previously had their voice surgery done there, and that have been putting posts up on this forum about it]. We will keep you updated with any news that we get.

I still have not heard anything back since the initial contact with the  Korean surgeries. I've resubmitted everything, but am beginning to get a little bit disheartened. The Greeks haven't been in touch yet either, but they did say it would take a few days, although they do not inspire me to think that they are any better than the Latin American FFS surgeons. Being that I am half Greek, they may well be the best people to deal with my nose, who really nose!! Just have to be patient. I'm just so pissed off at the moment, I'm in desperate need of some good news........................anybody?

Hey iv just read your posts. I think you mean you want Greek surgeons for rhinoplasty? Not sure where your based.. This might be irrelevant but going to a rhinoplasty specialist in your nearest major city would be just as good perhaps? Or is that not what you mean... Either way good luck!

That's because them not being specialised FFS Surgeons they are very likely to not understand what your needs are for these procedures, I really do wish that you find the right surgeon for the right price for you but all this Korea business just seems far fetched, I'm just not sure I would trust the feminization of my face to someone who's likely to not even understand my reasons? That said I'm sure you will make sure they are listening to you and they know what you want before you go ahead with it. Let us know how u get along Hun. X

Hi angel. Apparently there are some surgeons in Athens, Greece, that are supposed to be good. One in particular has trained under the Brazilian Dr Pitanguy. This Greek surgeon is the one that I am hoping might be able to do my nose, and possibly the chin and jaw surgery that I need. I am in the U.K, so Greece is not too far, I have been there many times to holiday, and its a fantastic place to visit. Having said that, everything is still up in the air as to where I will be going for surgery, Greece is just another possibility. Ideally, I would like to go to Korea for my chin and jaw surgery, as they are supposed to be the best at those procedures. The Koreans have more cosmetic surgery per capita than anywhere else in the world, closely followed by the Greeks in 2nd place. Do you think it means anything???

Hi calicarly, Yes I'm making myself dizzy and sick. I'm hoping that I can get my chin and jaw surgery in Korea, because of what I've put in the previous post to angel0202. I don't know about my nose, I will wait to hear what this Greek surgeon has to say. He did supposedly train under Dr Pitanguy in Brazil, and he is aware that I want my face feminized. He may even be able to do all of it if he is an experienced and certified FFS surgeon. I am getting so fed up and feeling really down about the whole situation, I just don't know what to do. Thank you so much for your concerns and wishes.

I still have not heard back from the Korean surgical establishments that I have made enquiries with. I've have just heard back from Athens, Greece. The price for nose, chin and jaw is very competitive, in fact I'm not going to beat it anywhere else in the EU, no way. I've now got to thoroughly research the surgeons credentials and history, before I make this "leap of faith". I guess it would be the same if I decided to go to Korea or Javier Rossi in Argentina, because they are all unknown quantities, whoever goes to these Surgeons first are kind of like pioneers, blazing the trail for the rest to follow on. I just hope that after the awful Mexico debacle, ordeal, that this time it will work out for me. Fingers and toes crossed.

Dear Girls,...FFS is a mayor procedure in plastic and craniofacial surgery...should not be a matter of luck or not to cross your fingers, or go with the cheapest.
It should be a choice of surgeon with experience and ability more than anything else.
Hugs.

Hi Samantha, unfortunately for those of us who struggle to make ends meet, going to the cheaper surgeon is the only way. Having said that, I have heard that on this site you are are keenly supportive of MDM, which is okay, I think what I've seen of his work he must be a fantastic surgeon. If I can get enough money together I would like to go to him, but then again if I could get even more money together I could go to Brian Musgrove in Manchester, England, and if I had a mountain of money I could go to Facial Team in Spain [They are probably the best at the moment]. Do you see what I'm getting at, it all depends on what finances you have at your disposal. All said and done I do agree with you, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

try this surgical center
BK Plastic Surgery Hospital
+82-10-5021-8886
I had contacted them a while sgo
The estimated price range for
V-line surgery: 10000~12000 USD
Thank you so much Shiella, I think they are one of the places that I am waiting to hear back from. Its nice to know the approximate cost. I'm now really hoping that this Greek surgeon is all his P.A has cracked him up to be, because his price is incredible. Rest assured that I will thoroughly research him before I book anything, and if it all works out, then I will still go over there to have a face to face with him and check out all the facilities. Hell, its only Athens, I could get there by mid morning, have my consultation, check out every thing, have some Kleftico then get back home to sleep in my own bed that night if I wanted to. All that for £150 !!
