I don't know how many weird al fans are out there, but I have been a fan for as long as I have been breathing. He's always been one I've looked up to. He's gone thru so much to get to where he is today. Good example of not giving up. Anyways, he's seemed to be comming back lately. It all started with his new album "Alpocolypse." He did a voice for a character in the hit show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." He played Sir Isaac Newton in an Epic Rap Battle of History Season 3, and now, he is releasing new songs every day for 8 days! 5 of them are currently out, and they are really fun. If you haven't seen them, you should really check them out. They really made me laugh.
1.) His first song was Tacky parody of Happy. Jack Black is in it
2.) College Humor got to pair up with him to make what is currently my favorite "Foil" parody of Royals
3.) With an epic typogrophy video comes "Word Crimes" parody of "Blurred Lines"
4.) You will definatly laugh seeing "Handy" parody of "fancy"
5.) and of course he's famous for his polkas "now that's what I call polka"
6.) Today's new song I think is an original "Lame Claim to Fame"
UPDATE!
7.) Another original. Really funny "First World Problems"
8.) I don't really get into sports, but I can get into "The Sport Song"
Check this stuff out! And keep in touch to see when his new ones come out too. And if you haven't ever listened to him or know him, now's a great time to find out;)

Props though, I could easily take any song and change the words, I do it all the time.

but to make a living doing it is pretty impressive. VERY impressive actually

Assuming you mean Al as modern day. Because he looks a little different now compared to the 80s. Unless, the weird al now really is your friend who switched places with him back in the 80s and has been living al's life all the time while you have actually been hanging around with al all this time thinking he was your friend! :o

Then I supose you aren't actually living with the real weird al, and it is in fact your friend. Unless of course your friend has always been weird al from day one and weird al has actually been your friend, and has been missing you for a very long time. Perhaps you should ask your friend just in case.

A good parody cannot be overcome and Royals / Foils really made me laugh. Sometimes real genius - others erm leave me cold. But thanks for listing...

Yeah. Foils was a fantastic parody. Really well done in the parody itself, and it made me laugh so much when he started talking about conspiracy theories XD.

Ermergerd that one is epic. I really love that one. I remember when I was little and my friend had that song, and I was gong crazy trying to find the "Bad Hair Day" album to get it. Btw, I'm looking at prievews of the new album "Mandatory Fun" One of his upcoming parodies is "Inactive" parodying "Radioactive" That one sounds pretty epic. Hillarious lyrics, and fantastic job on the music.

Amish Paradise and White and Nerdy are probably my favorites that he's done. I love me some Weird Al and his new stuff isn't to bad. I never could get into his weird polkas though.

Haha, Weird Al is ridiculously underrated and I'm happy he's still making songs. I can't run youtube well right now but I'm glad to know more will come up next time I search there.

His new album of which the songs and many others are on "Mandatory Fun" is now available on iTunes if you have that. And I agree with what you say. When I was growing up, I felt like I was the only person in the world who knew he was alive, because nobody other than me liked or even listened to him. Finding another fan was the rarest, and coolest thing for me. I used to get bullied for listening to his stuff. But as I grew up, and got into fandoms and other stuff, I finally found that more and more people out there like him as well, which was really nice for me to find out. :)
