I don't know even how to describe what happened yesterday, nor am I able to for fear of being too graphic...
First, here is a pic of me in my hospital room on, just before release:

So yesterday, Sunday, I had a 10am followup with Dr.Kunaporn, everything checked out OK, he reomoved the last of the sutures and released me, so I decided to go to Patong, not knowing what trouble I would get into (remember though Iam a recovering alcoholic so it couldn't involve alcohol or drugs) so I get off the bus walk down to the beach and I hear hip-hop music blaring from this soccer field/small stadium, I check it out, I don't know how to describe this nor do I understand exactly what it was all about even after spending most of the day there, but the stands are filled with people, mostly women and transwomen, each section bedecked in different color outfits, and all wijh what appeared to be cheerleaders for the various games going on, volleyball, relay races, waterballoon races, etc.

As soon as I enter some woman comes up and grabs my butt and wants a picture with me, then I drift around to the various groups then a group of LBs grab me and want a pic:

After that, I settle in with a group of mostly GG dykes, we danced hip-hop, and got down, I mean really down, grinding down, I wanted to tell my partner, "Pin" to go easy as the cake she was grinding was freshly baked and rather fragile but I couldn't figure out how to say that in Thai, unforatunately I didn't get a pic of "Pin" being too intensely involved to worry about pictures...I thought Pin was fairly femme for a Tom until she opened a bottle of beer with her teeth! So I spent all afternoon, eating and driniking water, turning down at least a dozen offers to drink beers or shots, all of this didn't cost me a Baht, the evening topped off with a football match, I said goodbye to my new friends and wandered off to find something to eat and get away from the zany Thai women, really weird but I gather that Thai women think about me the way American men think about petiete Thai and Vietnam women, Vive la difference, how else to explain the several comments about what a great body I have?

Quite an amazing first day out since being released from care.
