Not so good these days

Ciara

Hi Everyone,
I'm usually pretty good at keeping my dysphoria at bay but not so over the past couple of weeks. More and more I have been hating my male body, hair, shape. Every day I feel a need to wear bra, panties and dress in female clothes. I just don't feel comfortable wearing anything else. Right now I wish so much that I could come out and be a woman all the time. However I know that that is not to be...... All my theories about how I live with and deal with my femininity are up in the air right now.
As I write this I am dressed and feeling calm and comfortable.
I know these feelings will pass in time but I hope that sharing with my online girl friends may help.
Thank you for listening,
Ciara

Thank you for sharing. You're definitely not alone in the struggle being hard right now.

Thank you Jera.
You are right. I'm not alone. There are always many of us finding the struggle hard. It's good that we can support each other during the hard times as well as the better times.
Thank you for listening.

It's great that you shared your feelings, Ciara. Carrying it inside isn't good. I understand what you are going through. Been there myself.

:)

Thank you Gennee,
At times like this I really appreciate support from you and other girls who know the pain we sometimes go through.
I'm so glad we are all here to support each other.

As you can see, you are not alone. I hate my body everyday, even when I feel secure enough to wear my babydoll in the house I still hate my body. It's been pretty hard for me lately too. I just want to be me already. ~huggles~

Ciara,

I know how it feels like being in a dark place alone.  Personally, I first connected online with the early trans groups on IRC, then I finally made the appointments for therapy.  Letting it all out to someone felt like lancing a boil - oh so painful to open up, but I felt so much better afterwards.

You have your release, and that's great, but it sounds like you are looking for more.  I hope you find your path.

Ciara, sorry your dysphoria is bad. I know it is tough and feel your pain.

I am glad you can express at home and hope it helps.

Body issues, I don't think there is a woman born that does not have body issues. Although, we have a few more or less bits to tidy up  and get in shape.
