Things Are Moving Very Quickly Now

In the past three weeks I've started seeing a therapist, came out to my best friend, had my first session of electrolysis and Thursday I see a local practitioner who specialises in trans clients to discuss HRT. I really hope to start HRT very soon. It's almost overwhelming how quickly things are happening now.

Wow you did all that in three week period.  I don't think I could of even come close to that.  I think It took me almost 2 years to come out to some family and then shortly after that I started seeing a therapist.

That's really exciting though and its a good feeling to go though and don't let the slow changes get you down either.  Everything takes time and is well worth the wait !

Yeah, the initial stage sometimes is like that. And then You will start HRT and You will be waiting and waiting and waiiitiiing... . Dont worry, You will have plenty of time to reflect upon various facets of life .

I was thinking the same thing... 

I'm not trying to be discouraging at all, that's really awesome that things are starting to happen for you!  It kind of worked out like that for me too.  Therapy, electrolysis, starting to come out, HRT all right in a row.  Now it's a waiting game for HRT to do it's thing, head hair growing out, electrolysis....  they all seem glacially slow compared to those first few weeks!

It's happening now though, finally!  And that's the important part right?

It took me from January this year up to this point to start HRT.  In that period of time I've told all my friends,family and co-workers.
