FtM Passing 101?

Do we have this topic?

I'm absolutely brand new...and I am absolutely scared to death to start trying to pass. 
But I want to pass with everything in me.  Where do I begin?  Haircut? Binding? Clothing?
There's sooooo much info on what you "should" be using but it just confuses me more....

What did you guys start with?

I think it's up to you. For me binding was a must. I've always hated my chest so I guess I started there. I've always basically dressed like a guy but I began buying only in the men's department (mostly thrift store stuff). A hair cut made a huge difference too.

Don't do what I did!

And by that, I mean don't dye your hair a crazy colour, dress well, or get piercings. Before I did these things, I passed 100% of the time. This month I pierced my lip and dyed my hair green, and I haven't passed AT ALL since because I now look like a butch lesbian and not a 12 year old boy.
