So yesterday, I was fired from work for some things that were my fault, and a lot of which wasn't my fault. Things were blown out of proportion and I was held to a double standard even though technically they were correct legally for firing me. I'm not here to dispute that or go into details.
I was, (keyword WAS), so worried about finding another job for varying questions. Questions such as, do I go as a guy and tell them I am a woman, do I go as Cassie and explain I haven't fully transitioned, will they discriminate and just not hire me, and ect.
Any one else here have any of this happen to them?
p.s. - in 24 hours, I got a new job making more money, and was clear upfront about who I was and explained to them that the reason I left was because I wanted a new start where people only know me as Cassie. Maybe I am just lucky once again.
