99% of the time, I find it very difficult to empathize with c is gender people. I feel as though they get the privileges already that I have to suffer for, then I really thought about something.
I don't think I would even KNOW what it means to me to be a female if it wasn't for the identity crisis. I came out essentially knowing who I am in terms of my femininity whereas, most c is gender females genders are more done to them rather than for them.
There was one girl in my high school two grades ahead of me in my brothers grade. We haven't seen each other for about another 5 years afterward, then suddenly I get a friend request from her on facebook.
She told me I am an inspiration, "for someone to own them self and to know who they are."
I think, maybe, most people are not this lucky.

You're probably onto something.  A major turning point in any transition is the moment we stop feeling sorry for ourselves and start accepting the hand we've been dealt.  Even better if we can not just accept who we are, but see it for the amazing gift that it really is.

(Yeah, some days it's still a pain in the ass, but those days are - thankfully - outnumbered by the days I think that being trans is the most exciting thing ever.)

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Can I quote one of my female friends when I told her? It summed it up perfectly for me when I came out. "F****** finally!"

She then went to a store we both like and bought me a dress, I have yet to get the dress but she assures me I'll love it.

It was basically the consensus I got when I finally came out as transgender. All of my female friends where just waiting for it. A few guy friends knew but didn't say anything. I was blown away by the positive reaction I got, and I wish everyone else had such a good reaction.
