And now for the current  patch version of myself.

Lorenz 1.1.2.3.41.2.3 (or something like that... geek humour...  ::) )

This is who I looked at in the mirror earlier today and felt at home and as I have ALWAYS been inside.

woah, you look different from the angle of your profile picture. your facial structure is very masculine to me. although you dislike how lanky you are, it definitely is in your favor. :)

Sir Real

LoriLorenz, your face is very masculine.  I'd look at someone funny if they called you "she".

My face structure is something that bugs the heck out of me some days, my jaw is (as part of my medical mumbo jumbo) not even on both sides, making my profile from each side very different. My family is all lanky, but I'm currently underweight! Great for masculine features, not so much for healthy.  :o But thanks, gald to know it helps  ;D

From the last one I'd say 17ish, sorry if that may be younger than your real age still, I'm bad at judging ages  :D

Hey guys, Riley here.

This was one of the first threads I checked out when I get here, and I was hoping I could get a little help.

I'm pretty happy with how I'm passing, I'm 14 months T so I'm safe most of the time. The problem is I've got this mop of hair..
(mind the face)

.. and I honestly have no idea what to do with it.

I've been to scared to change it since starting T because I don't want to go back to not passing again. Before I started, I used to love my hair, it was always my best feature. I still do love my hair, as thick and naturally red as it is, it's just not the best when I'm trying not to look like a bogan.

The other problem is, I'm almost 18 and I'm fairly sure I look about 15 when my hair is all floppy like this.

Anyhow, any opinions on the hair situation and on my passing in general would be sweet and greatly appreciated. :)

Cheers all,

Cheers all,

You pass really well, I don't think there are any hairstyles you can get that'll make you look female. You could try this for hairstyle ideas https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=undercuts+for+curly+hair+men&client=ms-android-h3g-gb&hl=en-GB&biw=360&bih=615&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=R8ncVJz3EtXkaqfvgqAG&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ or this http://ftmguide.rassaku.net/

Thank you very much, that's always a great thing to hear. :)

I a had an undercut going on for a few years before T, and I always kind of just thought my face was too short and round, but perhaps it may be time to give it another go.

Also, thank you so much for thank link. I've never actually seen this guide before, it's really good.

@LoriLorenz, @DragonBeer, @Lunarwings: You guys all pass to me.

@Tripdistrans: A little hard to tell. But you do look masculine. I DO like the long hair. Maybe just  try styling it to pass better...?

Sorry, if I missed anyone. You guys all look great!

The selfies are mediocre with this one.
I will admit, I do love having a mop on my head, it's definitely a signature part of me, but I cannot express how annoyingly thick it is. Styling becomes a three hour task that ends in a hat a lot of the time. The other thing I forgot to mention is that I've got a promotion coming up (okay so I'll be a crew trainer at McDonald's, but that counts right?) and the uniform for that position doesn't include a hat.

However, after the suggesiton of an undercut from @Elis, and the confidence boost in my mop from yourself (ty), I'm pondering whether or not it would safe to go with a Matt Healy style cut? However, my fringe would probably be cut slightly shorter than his (which is quite long) so that I can at times actually wear it over my face. (For someone reason I enjoy the bogan look?)

Simply to demonstrate the cut itself, here is his beautiful head.

Copy paste that cut to the other side of his head aswell.

I've shaved the sides of my head in the past, so I would shave it down gradually to see what looks best.

Once again, any opinons are greatly appreciated.

Tripdistrans, I think you could get away with the hairstyle with your job, I've seen lots of hairstyles at fastfood places. I think it'll also give you a masculine or at least androgynous appearance without needing much time for maintenance.

Good luck

Do you know about the internet meme called Duck Hunting?????
Quote from: Tripdistrans on February 12, 2015, 08:27:48 AM
BANG!!! Caught another ducky! ;)

;D

But truly, a disconnected undercut will help to masculinize your face a bit more. Hopefully this will help age you appropriately. Yay for framing and optical illusions! Otherwise, a pass!

@DriftingCrow
I think one of the biggest helpers will be having the ability to just man-bun it for work if it gets too wild. It will also work perfectly for after surgery when its time to hit the town in stunning dresses and high heels.

@LoriLorenz
Im not going to try and argue with that, I did ponder whether a duck face was worth it just to emphasise my babystache. (It was.)

Thank you both, and everyone else, for the luck and the feedback. Next step is the Salon, woo! :)
