Forearm Muscle Loss?

TheQuestion

OK, about now I'm sure people will be getting aggravated at my constantly asking questions, but that's what I do and the reason for my choosing the username that I have.  Plus, I like the DC comics character, but I digress.  Question is, have you seen much reduction in your forearms in terms of muscle?

I'm really hating on my hands, but I'm starting to think that they may not be so bad and it could in-fact be the forearms leading into them that are the problem.  I use to work my forearms out a lot back when I was playing baseball.  There pretty thin, but they do have quite a bit of muscle, maybe even a lot.  They definitely have a muscular shape to them, and at times they ripple with veins.  If I lost a lot of muscle I could see them being very thin and it may lessen the prominence of my veins.  It would also probably make my hands less noticeable and just look better IMO.

Thanks in the advance...

If you're on HRT your muscle will definitly wither away. I'm actually pleased how scrawny I am nowadays, even though I wasn't big pre HRT. My wrist is 6" and forearm is 9" extended, with me being 5'8" and around 138lbs.
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

I'm not on HRT yet.  Probably in a month or so.  When I get down into the 130's-140's my arms get tiny, but they still obtain the muscular "shape."

Thanks ;) and no, not on anything yet.  Probably in a month.  I really have a feeling HRT will do nothing to my face though, so FFS will be in the works.  Hell, I have a feeling HRT won't do a thing to me and it's sort of making me hesitant to go on HRT at all.  I'd say there's about a 70% chance that I will... but I just don't know.

At 6'0" even and 159.6lbs my wrist is 6.75" and my forearm is 10-13/16"... so almost 11 inches.  My bicep is 11.25" un-flexed and 12.75" flexed.

Baby there is a former professional body builder (with awards) in my real life support group. Her before was like Hercules and now she is so small if I didn't know her I would call her a liar.  :) I will ask her if I can show you her before and after pictures. You will be blown away.

I used to have rather large, muscular forearms and a large upper torso because I used to do a lot of mechanical work. That's all stopped now and I am 10 months into a transitioning dose of HRT.  My arms have been steadily shrinking as has my torso, and wearing a top that shows my shoulders and upper arms is growing closer and closer to a possibility now.

Before HRT I used to routinely throw two 50 lb bags of fertilizer over my shoulder and carry them from the front yard to the back yard at the same time; now I struggle just to load a 35lb jug of kitty litter into my cart at Costco using both hands

You look fabulous now and I think HRT is going to do wonderful things for you  :)

Yep. Forearms and wrists both. I didn't *have* any visible muscle that I could find, either, but they got smaller nevertheless...

My arms used to look very masculine and ripped from construction work.

I had 18 1/2 inch biceps when I started HRT, they were still 16 inches when I had the orchi, and now 6 weeks later, down to 15.  The magic works, but slowly.

On HRT you will significantly lose muscle. I was a world class athlete and after 17 months on HRT the muscle loss on my shoulders, neck, back, pecs, arms - plus the change in skin texture with a fatty layer will also hide the veins which were so visible before. You look great in your avitar
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

I never had any upper body to begin with. However, I will say that I've gotten weaker physically in my arms since starting hrt.

I assumed that my forearms were as small as they would get already. Some compact (toned) muscle but not bulky. Because of that I didn't measure them pre HRT...
Seeing this post I checked, and they are definitely getting smaller. I can almost fit my forearm (the widest part) inside the circle made by my thumb and middle finger. No way would that have happened before.
