even my online games is like high school. geez, and people complain that i'm to detached from the world but i say if i were to attach myself, i'd be driven to the point of psycho-pathetic insanity but thats just how the world goes. i wonder how life would be without the high school drama. i'd have to say though i didnt have a normal high school life, compared to regular school, my school had every type of mental craziness created

If you were "too detached from the world", you wouldn't be complaining about high school drama existing in online games and IRL. If you were really detached as you say, you wouldn't care about those things because you're not attached enough in the first place to care.

Grounding yourself to reality will not drive yourself to this outrageous notion of "psycho-pathetic insanity". 

Everyone experiences high-school and the drama within - almost everyone who graduate or leave high-school realize there are individuals who still carry the high-school mentality in the big bad world. Best thing to do? Ignore them because you cannot make them change themselves and it's pointless to complain about things that are out of your control when you can spend that energy doing more productive things such as achieving your goals in life and making a future for yourself - those things are well within your control!

drama was a subject to be studied, and techniques to be applied, in the school i went to.

Maybe it has to do with my line of work, my church, and my choice of friends/associates, but I'm not feeling that high school mentality so much with people I interact with.

On the other hand, extended family present the same rubbish they did 25 years ago.  Fortunately I have the freedom to determine how much I visit with them.
